Oooh deepfakes of crime is an abuse I hadnโt even thought of before, fuck.
Comic Strips
Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- AI-generated comics aren't allowed.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

You'll hear about it a lot in the future. Every criminal will claim that all of the evidence against them is a deepfake. I guess every high profile criminal, at least.
Every criminal will claim it. Whether people believe it or not is what is determined by how much they are paying their lawyers.
Its the first thing that comes to mind for me. If you give someone something that is used as legal ID, then from there on that person or corporation can impersonate you. Thats what this face scanning / Picture of ID stuff leads to.
This face scan age verification stuff is so funny to me (except for the potential horrible consequences and complete loss of anonymity). It's like - behold, we've found a way to create a digital version of a mildy stoned gas station clerk!!1 lamo Older brothers just got useful again.
Ahh civilization, we really are coming up with any excuse to not pay any attention to each other and least of all our children.
Maybe we should have stayed in the jungle
