Anyone else just hovering waiting for the fascists to break the cease fire? My anxiety won't level off even close to where it was 2 weeks ago. Its like I know the anti climax we are at isn't the end.

Dutch media is unironically quoting Katz, who is calling Khamenei a 'modern day Hitler', while ignoring Katz' own genocide

Comments from an observer regarding the attacks corroborating the Iranian statement of limited damage:

If Fordow was gone, you’d see craters, electromagnetic rupture, emergency airlifts, seismographs lighting up, and IR flares beneath the mountain. Instead, we got a tweet from an account run out of Northern Israel, yelling “Fordow is gone”.

As of now, there is no SAR confirmation. No crater clustering. No multispectral flash analysis. No underground fire signature. No BDA loop. If Fordow still spins tomorrow, Washington just pulled off the most expensive influence op in bunker-busting history, only to watch Tehran climb the escalation ladder unscathed.

Not only the attack may have failed, but they just escalated with no strategic success.

—❗️🇮🇷/🇮🇱 Washington Post: 'Israel will only be able to maintain shooting down Iranian ballistic missiles for 10 or 12 more days, then they will need to start rationing munitions'

This could explain why Iran is opting to launch small but consecutive waves. Iran is likely using up some of their older / less sophisticated missiles to deplete Israeli defenses, to make way for the 'real' stuff later on. This is attritional warfare.

In most cases, a small wave of 3-5 Iranian ballistic missiles is enough to prompt the launch of about 10-15 Israeli interceptor missiles, with each one costing at least $12 million dollars (in the case of THAAD).

In contrast, even Iran's most modern missile, the Fattah-1, only costs about $200,000 to produce, according to the IRGC. If we assume 12 interceptors for one Fattah-1 missile (as seen in a video today), that means Israel is spending $144 million dollars to 'intercept' (not always successfully) a single Iranian hypersonic missile.

This is simply not sustainable. Within about two weeks, if Iran keeps up the current pace of fire, Israeli airspace will be at the mercy of Iran's far larger and more destructive solid fuel bsllistic missiles. Unless, of course, the U.S. intervenes directly.

'Fascinating' for a lack of a better word, to see how the different missiles hit. You can see the Iron Dome struggle with the faster (ballistic?) missiles that just call to the ground in less than a second.

Israel just bombed a TV station, IRIB, in Tehran

Watch: https://inv.nadeko.net/watch?v=pyNtoCKvPC8

Moments before the attack, Emami was saying: “Listen, what you hear is the sound of the aggressor. You hear the sound of the aggressor attacking the truth.” Jabari said these are going to be “extraordinary scenes”. “This TV channel is the most watched inside the country because foreign channels are banned inside Iran,” Jabari said. “So people use satellite dishes to access foreign media and channels and it’s very difficult most of the time, so this is the most accessible to the general public.”

Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz, who said that “the mouthpiece of Iranian propaganda and incitement is on the verge of disappearing. The evacuation of nearby residents has begun”.

🇮🇷 Statement by the Iranian Foreign Ministry:

The bellicose US administration will be held responsible for the extremely dangerous consequences of aggression against Iran. We will defend ourselves with all our might.

🔹This statement strongly condemns the barbaric US aggression against our country's peaceful nuclear facilities and emphasizes: this aggression, committed in collusion with Tel Aviv, has once again demonstrated the depth of depravity that reigns in American politics, as well as the level of hostility and hatred of the US ruling elite towards the peace-loving and independent people of Islamic Iran.

🔹The Foreign Ministry emphasizes: Iran considers it its right to firmly resist US aggression and the crimes of this rebellious regime, as well as to defend its security and national interests.

🔹The Foreign Ministry statement indicated that the US attack on Iran's peaceful nuclear facilities is a flagrant and unprecedented violation of the UN Charter, especially the principle of non-use of force and respect for the territorial integrity and national sovereignty of states, as set out in paragraph 4 of Article 2, a violation of UN Security Council Resolution 2231 and a crushing blow to the nuclear non-proliferation regime.

🔹The MFA also emphasizes: Iran recalls the responsibility of the United Nations, the Security Council, the UN Secretary-General, the International Atomic Energy Agency and other competent international bodies to immediately respond to this criminal lawlessness and considers silence in the face of this blatant aggression as an unprecedented and comprehensive threat to the entire world.

🔹The Foreign Ministry's statement calls on the UN Security Council to hold an emergency meeting, strongly condemn the US's criminal aggression against Iran, and hold the US accountable for grossly violating international norms and principles.

If things look bleak, let's remember that it was unprecedented for Israel to get bombed by other nations. Now Iran has the capabilities to inflict damage on Israel, this is a very good development on the anti-imperialist side.

Yoav Groweiss

People here have never stopped justifying the shelling of hospitals in the Gaza Strip, but the second they fire on a hospital here, suddenly everyone comes out against the violation of the laws of war. We are like the player who never stops playing dirty, but the second someone touches him, he throws himself to the ground and screams Foul.
