This is why the TV I use strictly as a PC monitor will never be connected to the internet.
I took apart the remote and physically disconnected the mic for the living room TV.
I don't know why I bother, however, cause my phone is still listening all the time. I've tried my best to minimize the data being sent by using NextDNS with strict filters, and App Tracking Protection enabled in the DDG app.
Whatever you do... There's someone smarter working for these companies that's aware of what a user might do. Ultimately, it's a foregone battle.
You can limit the exposure, sure. But these companies have already won.
I think this would work better if they added the original punchline of "we killed the" tesla
