Somewhere in north eastern Ontario. To the naked eye, almost none of those colours were visible, it was mostly gray/white streaks, but they shimmered occasionally. I didn’t need any special equipment for these pics, they’re not edited either, just long exposure and night mode on a phone a few years old.

Also in North Eastern Ontario. I didn't see any all night, but was looking for colors and not just gray/ white streaks.

We drove to a nearby city to escape light pollution (there are large hills in between that helped), but we still didn't see anything. Pretty cool that lots of people saw cool stuff. We're planning a trip to Alaska to do it right.
