It will well and truly be dead and gone once old.reddit.com stops working. It remains the one good way to view the site, regardless of device.
I built this firefox addon to help people move from reddit: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/lemmy-deep-lighthouse/
I'm not entirely sure what this does? It automatically creates a copy of a post to lemmy when you post on reddit?
I wonder if a plugin that does the opposite would be helpful? Something that automatically creates a link post on the relevant reddit community when you post on lemmy.
