Hungary is losing out on nothing; all it has to do is stop acting as a roadblock to the EU's foreign policy and it benefits by getting its frozen EU funds.
In terms of Ukraine, preventing Russia from engaging in ethnic cleansing secures the future of a potential EU member state. Also given the geopolitical importance of keeping Russian expansionism in check, that is the best use of EU military spending at present.
Are you saying Russia isn't engaged in war crimes against Ukraine?

Oops.
The Soviet Union imploded first and foremost due to its massive internal contradictions. Any involvement from the US or Soros is secondary at best. Gorbachev's reforms threatened the power of the bureaucrat ruling class. They are the ones that killed the Soviet Union in order to become the oligarchs.
I didn't say that. In fact I acknowledged that the US attacked it. But the USSR also worked to undermine capitalist regimes. So what? You're the one that isn't being serious because you don't have an answer for the fact the Soviet Union was a walking contradiction. It claimed to be a workers socialist government yet in praxis it was state capitalism with an authoritarian government. That contradiction is what brought it down. But yeah it's easier to just blame America and keep the socialist movement from learning and adapting.
