Does anyone know if this has been (or could be) implemented at a software (firmware?) level for meshtastic devices?

Nope. We are broadcasting below 1 watt.

A noicy air conditioner could, in theory, jam our nodes. Ive seen it with satelite ground stations. Or a big enough tree.

Plrase someone prove me wrong but thats my understanding.

Everything will be jammed and everything will be MitMed.

Unless you're very well funded against a state, you don't have a real chance.

Plus meshtastic has no forward secrecy. It's already vulnerable to store and decrypt attacks.
