Is the Account Import function working? (lemmy.world)

I exported from my old Friendica site wist@my-place.social (via https://my-place.social/settings/userexport) and ended with a wist.account file downloaded.

I went to https://friendica.world/user/import, pointed to the wist.account file, and clicked the [Import] button. It pauses a moment, then comes back with the import screen again -- no error, no confirmation.

But as far as I can tell, wist@friendica.world has not been created. Or, if it has, I can't figure out how to sign in or reset the password.

Am I missing something obvious here?

Could you file an issue at https://github.com/friendica/friendica/issues about this? There are a few open issues about account import, but e.g. https://github.com/friendica/friendica/issues/15314 seems to be different from what you are seeing. Provide as much details as possible like exact versions for the instances you are importing from and to and so forth.
