What an odd thing. I hear Google and keyboard, I'm picturing a phone's virtual KB. Instead, this is a physical DIY project. Has April Fool's energy lol.

As cool as dials are, seems like it'd be huge suffering to actually type anything out?

Which I guess this is just kind of an ad for their virtual? Still, it has files on GitHub if you want to 3D print and make one, so that's cool.

Not specific to only Japanese either, from what I can tell.

They make a wacky input device every year. You can search for them if you want.
