Hi.

I have a Poco x3 pro which is stuck on MIUI 13.0.3. Whenever I check, it says that it has the latest version and there are no new updates, but there are several updates after this 13.0.3 collection of bugs.

So, I've downloaded new ROMs from https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/archive/miui/vayu/

But when I want to flash new ROMs using the "choose update package" option it says "This ROM is intended for internal testers. Make sure your account has the required permissions.

I've tested it with versions 13.0.4, 13.0.8 and 14.0.3. All stable releases and recovery ROMs.

This is driving me crazy. Anyone got the same problem or knows any solution to this?

Thanks.

Update: I found no solution. I unlocked my phone, downloaded a fastboot rom, and using MiFlash tool, installed MIUI 14.0.3. No major bugs so far.

Was it possible to flash a global ROM onto Chinese version of any Mi Band? Would you guess it would happen with Mi Band 8 Pro?

It would solve two problems:

  • Chinese variant often costs half the price
  • No need to wait months to get your hands on the device

Mi Pad 5 (nabu) exposes strange behavior: when setting 5Ghz wifi to channel 60 or 64 the SSID shows up. Finding, connecting and using the wifi works fine. However when setting 5Ghz to auto-channel in router the channel is set to a channel in the 100+ range resulting in the Xiaomi device no longer showing the SSID.

This seems a common in Xiaomi devices as per:

Since running a custom rom can't follow steps to report this to Xiaomi, but the reports are for MIUI and the issue is also encountered in ArrrowOS 13.1. https://xiaomiui.net/how-to-report-bugs-on-miui-7934/
