@jontree255
That's criminal.

Like @illumrial said in another reply - these are from the "PiperMakes" Patreon. I printed out the individual files and built the kit. Most stuff is on ball joints so its posability is very high.
@setsneedtofeed
That's where it starts! After applying crackle paste it comes out looking more like Chaos corruption breaking through the ground. I'll take another picture after I apply the effect.

The Court of the Mortive Expanse arose when a Knight world was isolate upon the opening of the Great Rift. Warp-time-shenanigans resulted in them defending themselves alone for a century or more. When contact was reestablished with the Imperium, instead of sending the requested aid, the Dark Angels chapter arrived demanding supplies and when they didn't immediately comply they were declared renegades. Already strained to the breaking point, the Court finally succumbed to Chaos.
@RightHandOfIkaros
I mean GW does have a way with "creatively tributing" the designs of their models to other franchises.
@SpiceMerchant @warhammer40k
That is an astonishingly creepy model, I love the direction they went with their interpretation of warp corruption.
@itsJoelle
No need to apologize, this is a vast hobby and the only way to learn is to ask (even if it is heresy).
Space Marines are the "my dudes" faction - they're vast and diverse because they A) get a lot of releases and B) are often the first army for most people. That means they have a lot of tools to do things with but also are a blank slate when it comes to "what they look like". A person can do basically anything with them and are encouraged to by the lore as well.
@setsneedtofeed
Fantastic work on that model!
