Absolutely adore this bit from the screenshot:

which is based on Simone's personal observations of lions and tigers on a safari trip.

Sad we have no studies on human children. But thankfully its perfectly reasonable for someone on holiday who's untrained in interpreting big cat behavior to decide whats good for a bunch of animals is good for human kids too.

I want to add my voice to the others asking for tranfering to a new mod team. You don't have to kill the community, let people who want it on blahaj.zone keep using it. The worst that can happen is the quality of posts being lower.

I haven't really been able to find much on this. I recognize the totem-pole and what that's for. Would love help understanding:

  • What's the triangle?
  • What's the rectangle immediately after?
  • Why are there two outputs instead of one? A lecture I watched claimed this is common.

I'm not said student, found this /r/Mastodon. Sharing here since I think it would be good supporting research on this. Shortened description from the info page:

This project is part of a Master Thesis that aims to explore the factors that influence user activity on Mastodon and their role in sustaining decentralized networks. ... Ultimately, this research seeks to contribute to the future development of decentralized social networks by identifying key factors that support user activity, offering valuable insights for administrators and moderators in maintaining active and sustainable communities.

Well here's someone putting unnecessary math into their sex scene:

The meme is meant to get something similar across. The people who ask questions like that somehow seem to expect all the suffering people there are going through to be ignored or something.

I took the lambdas in the username to mean theyre a functional programming fan, pretty sure they're joking.

So I forgot I made this post. Seeing a notification with your comment was ... something.

Would be nice if you could mark this nsfw, it's pretty disgusting.

That icon goes way too hard for an uptime tracker.
