How's Piefed doing?

Shit is often used synonymously with stuff.

Read: what's with all this furry stuff?

Nothing noteworthy about 18, except voting and easier job hunts (technically, but I had to change cities to find work still, so YMMV). 21 was boring too.

But a week from now you'll be 40.

Don't be one of those who at 40 realizes they should have been investing 20% of their income and utilizing their employers 401k match, or taking better care of their health.

The time goes by real fast. Faster than as a teen.

Or at least it tends to seem that way.

Enjoy your 18th today.

Plan for you 60th tomorrow.

Don't wait.

Just to say it, I disagree with your idea of newsworthy.

You are entitled to your opinion however.

I was missing:

  • remember to wear your x-ray glasses.

As a side, not as an argument, people don't need a lot of things to merely survive. Like paint. You could argue you never need paint. But somebody who paints for a hobby certainly needs it for their hobby.

Words, fickle bitches they are.

Why is diversity important? How does being a black woman improve their ability to serve their constituents?

Answer succinctly, then I will ask 4 more questions, and your answers, if honest, will prove me right.

I didn't express any criteria for best.

That's for the voter to decide.

I did express what characteristics should be excluded from evaluation, and it should be pretty clear as to why.

So bribery. Maine residents are okay with immoral national politics, as long as they get their kickbacks for making it happen.

I'm thinking concessions for being the deciding vote should not be a thing.

So the real leftist plan isn't being played out in politics, it's being played out in business.

Join a co-op or credit union today.

Support local and sustainable businesses.

Support non-profits.

If you can, buy a for-profit and convert it to a non-profit or a non-profit co-op.

Most of the people at the top on the left don't have the drive or the power to enact real meaningful change in our lives, but voting left when you can is still the right thing to do politically. It at least makes it harder for the far right to gain yet more ground.

Like cancer, you can't just ask it nicely to stop killing you, you have to cut it all out.

But unlike cancer in a human body, we can also escape this cancers influence by simply building a separate cancer free body.

Technically we can do both, and hedge out bets a bit, but one is much easier to do than the other.

Fear mongering and sensatislism vs educational and beneficial programming.

How we are taught to stop terrorism and homicides, give more power to police and authority figures.

How one actually stops terrorism and homicides, better educate people and provide them with higher quality social and health services. Which ironically result in more preventative care and less deaths from the treatable diseases that are underreported.

Eat this, not that.

Nope, picking the best candidate regardless of their skin or sex or height or religion or other irrelevant characteristics is the only right choice.

Naturally trends in those categories will tend to adhere to their representation in society. If there are more tall white males pursuing political positions, than the best option will tend to be a tall white male.

And that shouldn't matter.
