Why do so many tech companies, like Reddit and Twitter are making their platforms worse for their users all of a sudden? in c/asklemmy@lemmy.ml

I think it had more to do with tech companies using their API heavily to train their language models. Getting users over to their app is just a bonus, probably.

That's great! It's kind of a crowdfunded instance, then. Makes me wonder if it would be feasible to implement some sort of collection box plugin or something...
