So I asked for it the last time I had a doctor’s appointment since I had actually recently cut myself (nothing major) doing repairs on my ancient house. He had to document my injury for the “health system” to even allow it. I then got a letter from my insurance a month later to see where I hurt myself, was it someone else’s property, was I suing someone over it etc etc etc. All over a tetanus shot. I think that’s why they don’t try to be loose with them. Best healthcare system in the world.

I do a weekly torture session on myself by listening to NPR on the radio on the way to work. They have been a bit more wishy washy on murdering every existing Palestinian lately, but they make sure to bring up the hostages almost every time.

Recently read A Fire Upon the Deep were half the story takes place on a planet with dog like group mind beings whose names are the combination of every member and if members die and they get a new member the name changes to include the new member, but they also use nicknames for the group beings whenever they feel like it.
