Oh my god that was dangerous from Ocon, Gasly is absolutely right to be pissed.
Ocon literally did what he did to Perez back at Force India - overtake stupidly and leave no room for his teammate.
I am fairly sure this is the worst race I have ever seen. Might as well have called it 80 formation laps. Jesus.
I think I counted like 5 overtakes that did not involve a crashed car. Ridiculous really. Last week at least there was some hope that one could pull a move. No such hope here
5 is pretty high for Monaco. I'm sure there have been years with zero on track overtakes before.
Haas and Alpines taking each other out. Typical Sunday.
Haas was a stupid move by Magnussen, he shouldn't have been there, Nico got caught in it. Ocon, what was he trying to do?

As is tradition! This race needs to go, I get the tradition behind the race, but the cars are just too damn fast and large for this track anymore.
Everyone is trying to go slower than the next driver, that's not racing!
An overtake? THAT COUNTS FOR THE STATISTICS
Red flag should be pretty good for the race leaders who started on mediums as they can slap on a set of hards now and likely go to the end of the race on them. Not so good for the Mercedes and Max behind starting on the hards, as they'll have to either stop for mediums later or stick on mediums now but these will likely not last until the end of the race.

Oh my god now the Alpines! Monaco 70 is quite a mess this far
Tsunoda and Albon in 8th and 9th just got lapped by Russell and Verstappen in 5th and 6th..
And now Zhou and Sargeant have been lapped twice, I have not seen this in a long time.

Quite surprised to see Russell hold off Verstappen until the end.
The cars are too fucking reliable to give an interesting Monaco race. The fact that there was a 1st lap red flag further diminished any hope of excitement.

But something needs to happen to this race. As it is now it is a Saturday race with qualifying, the race on Sunday is negligible, boring even.
Leclerc's engineer kinda made it sound like Sainz was the cause of the red flag.

No why. They will just lap them and continue as normal. No need to pit now as they have all used both compunds
How slow can we drive, and still not be passed. That seems to be the question.
