Source where it's claimed this song has AI Produced Media

Every artist I see around is claiming they dislike AI, they despise AI media, yet Loop The Rooms is getting so much views and covers and Remixes?

It seems only the MV contains AI, while the song is still pretty much vocaloid and human produced. If the song lyric is indeed AI generated then perhaps people haven't found out yet. Also Asian acceptance of AI is very different than Western, you're looking at Japanese media then trying to proof hypocrisy on a Western audience. The logic itself is already very wrong.

You're here with agenda, so i'm not gonna reply to your comment.

Something can be both bad and popular.

Nice reddit speak. No you're completely wrong too.

They don't hate AI. They hate that they're not in control. Being poor is the the most greedy, obnoxious and self entitled existence. The only difference between rich and the poor is that the rich have money and class.

Well the link you posted mentioned nothing about AI being used in the song itself, just the backgrounds of the video, which could be more of an artistic choice as being trapped in a hallucinated AI hell is pretty on brand for the backrooms universe. I’ve never heard of this song though and didn’t watch the video so take that with some salt.

It's a Hatsune Miku song. It's not an LLM AI, but it's also not human.

Sure but it was still made by a human, someone had to configure the vocaloid software to sing that.

Someone had to program ChatGPT, too.

[–] psx_crab@lemmy.zip 1 points 19 hours ago

Very different, chatgpt can generate the whole ass song with a single prompt, vocaloid you have to be a producer for it, the software only helps in the singing.

[–] Chronographs@lemmy.zip 2 points 1 day ago

Edited it to say configured, I meant as in they had to literally write the song and program it into the software, not to program the software itself.

just the backgrounds of the video

Still AI. TADC is about being stuck in an AI's dimension and it didn't need AI. ~~(the ending was really bad though) ~~

Yeah but the video doesn’t matter to people covering the song etc, they’re only using the music. And yeah of course it didn’t need it but using AI as an artistic choice to intentionally make something look soulless, shitty and generated is different from the usual cases where people would try and pass it off as “good enough” to replace actual art etc.
