I, (M21) and my girlfriend (F21) currently live together and have been together for about 4 months. I have to say I have never been good at names. I don't know hers and she calls me "little bird" so I don't know if she knows mine. About two weeks ago I started calling her Tony Pizza on the off chance that it's her name and she responds to it, but now she's mad? Am I the asshole?
Tony is a boy's name of Latin and possibly Etruscan origin, first uttered as Antonius, and its meaning is thought to be "highly praiseworthy." Pizza is a universally beloved food.

I don't respond when people call me by the wrong name. Don't respond to Tony Pizza if that isn't actually your name. That's lying to me which is being an asshole.
It feels like they're making fun of you by calling you little?? That's definitely not okay! Maybe I'm off base here but you seem to be making fun of their ancestry as well. It sounds like you don't have much respect for each other. ETA and unfortunately I think the only way around it is to break up
