This is a good point. Liberals can only comprehend domestic opposition to the US (or the "West" more broadly) under a framework of social contagion. They are doomed to reverse the cause and effect eternally. Hasan is one prominent example, but this is the case in general. Before Hasan was in the spotlight, widespread hatred of "Israel" was TikTok's fault. Or going further back, it couldn't be that the public broadly rejected Hillary Clinton, it had to be Russian bots on Facebook. The public is never allowed to be correct in their judgement of things like "genocide is abhorrent," or "we need to disarm and dismantle the fucking pigs," or "Brian Thompson deserved it." The explanation always has to be that the public is immature, or it's being tricked. The cause must always be externalized to some "outside agitator." Why else would the humble slaves raise their scythes in anger against their benevolent masters?
From the Liberal point of view, the institutions are tautologically legitimate. They can never fail. They can only be failed by substandard leadership. They are fundamentally incapable of separating concepts like "democracy" from their idols, the US and "Israel." They cannot possibly comprehend why the destruction of the US and "Israel" are prerequisites to justice, democracy, civil liberty, academic freedom, cultural inclusivity, world peace, and all the other great things Liberals generally believe in abstract.

It's terrifying (because any of us would get the same [worse?] treatment if we had any prominence or led an effective org/movement), but it heartening to see that it isn't really working at all. There's a whole lot of leftward momentum that's going to emerge in the 2030's, even though it isnt really revolutionary in nature. This is not a bad thing.
I think there is more revolutionary sentiment than people realize, I've seen average libs calling for "impeaching every Republican" and cheering on Iranian strikes on Amazon's facilities, the Mangione fans, etc. They talk about "getting money out of politics" but probably the only way that would be possible would be through a socialist revolution. I do feel heartened by people's attitude lately, though I'm in a bit less racist area than a lot of the US.

For all the issues one might have with Hasan, I think there are lessons to be learned from his competence at optics. He comes with a 21st century attitude ready that fairly effectively counters 21st century propaganda.

It's /r/LiveStreamFail. It's one of the top subreddits on reddit. It pretends to be a subreddit which shows "fails", ie clips of unfortunate events happening on live streams.
However LSF was being secretly moderated by one of Destiny's moderators named 'Stale2000'. The mods of the subreddit would boost clips that were negative towards Hasan and remove clips which were positive towards Hasan.
