Exhibit A for "If buying isn't owning, then piracy isn't stealing."
To be totally fair, they didn't buy this book, they borrowed it. Still a good reason to use other libraries
Well, true. But it sounds like the library didn't own the book either, all things considered.
Kavita
Haven't heard of it, haven't googled it, have my own solutions,
But I'm pretty sure what you're doing and thank to for your service.
And now to investigate...
It's software for hosting your eBooks. I have it on my Debian server and can grab it from any device with a browser. (on network or tunneling in).
I had this happen multiple times while binging new shows...

Piracy is a service problem.
I'm not advocating for piracy, but they're doing it to themselves.

I just spread the site whenever I have the opportunity.
How TF does this happen to a book sitting in your hands? I have never had this happen to any of my books, hardcover or paperback.

But at least it was your own fault. Much easier to forgive yourself than a global kafkaesque system of greed-driven bureaucracy.
Yes. Bezos didn't slap the book out of my hand into the water, and threaten to remove my entire bookshelf.
My epub calibre also shows no signs of manipulation in the timestamps...Very weird...
Thereβs always Annaβs Archive or Z Library. Those copies wonβt ever go away
Super easy way to solve that problem:
