  1. Link titles: Please use informative link titles. Overly editorialized titles, particularly if they link to opinion pieces, may get your post removed.

  2. Content warnings: Posts on the newscomm and top-level replies on the newsmega should use content warnings appropriately. Please be thoughtful about wording and triggers when describing awful things in post titles.

  6. Low effort material: Avoid memes/jokes/shitposts in newscomm posts and top-level replies to the newsmega. This kind of content is OK in post replies and in newsmega sub-threads. We encourage the community to balance their contribution of low effort material with effort posts, links to real news/analysis, and meaningful engagement with material posted in the community.

  7. American politics: Discussion and effort posts on the (potential) material impacts of American electoral politics is welcome, but the never-ending circus of American Politics© Brought to You by Mountain Dew™ is not welcome. This refers to polling, pundit reactions, electoral horse races, rumors of who might run, etc.

  8. Electoralism: Please try to avoid struggle sessions about the value of voting/taking part in the electoral system in the West. c/electoralism is right over there.

  9. AI Slop: Don't post AI generated content. Posts about AI race/chip wars/data centers are fine.

A reminder that as the US continues to threaten countries around the world, fedposting is to be very much avoided (even with qualifiers like "in Minecraft") and comments containing it will be removed.

Image is of the USS Abraham Lincoln arriving at Thailand, looking worn after a very long deployment to the Arabian Sea.

My weekly preamble is in spoiler tags below.

preambleTo start briefly with Iran, there's been two significant developments over the last week. First is that Iran is now beginning to put into practice its policy that allows preemptive strikes - a policy which was authorized by the previous Khamenei a while before his death but has so far gone unused - to strike at Kuwait, Qatar, and Jordan without a corresponding American aggression immediately beforehand. The second development is that Iran is now taking a firmer stand against the US Navy in the waters of the Arabian Sea, beginning by testing anti-ship ballistic missiles against the US fleet - so far without confirmed hits as of me writing this sentence - as it is obviously disadvantageous for Iran to simply not do anything against the blockade even with US logistics under strain. The US has attempted to dissuade these new strikes by striking Iranian oil tankers, to which Iran has responded by striking oil tankers aligned with the West. This is very much not a shooting war that the US wants to get into as oil stockpiles continue to decline and diesel prices are at all-time highs (though if adjusted for inflation, we still have a little more time before we hit absolute highs). The overall picture is of an Iran growing in confidence.

There's also been some encouraging news out of Yemen, where Ansarallah has been conducting a ground offensive weaken the enemy occupation of the western coast, including some breathtakingly precise drone-drop operations combined with using recon drones to guide ballistic missiles at enemy formations. As far as I'm aware, the blockade of the Bab el-Mandeb to Saudi tankers has been very successful, although stopping Saudi tankers from heading north towards Suez has been understandably trickier. I suppose if push comes to shove, they can continue to strike the very immobile coastal oil facilities rather than trying to hit moving ships at a great distance.

The news out of Russia/Ukraine has been quite miserable for particularly Ukrainian civilians over the past month or two, with Ukrainian strikes on Russian civilian logistics and warehouses being met with much greater Russian responses on Ukrainian civilian logistics and warehouses. Ukrainian ports are now effectively blockaded, making exporting agricultural products in the same quantities as before essentially impossible, and within the cities including Kiev, food suppliers are scrambling to find smaller warehouses to place goods in so that they aren't as easily destroyed like the larger warehouses have been. I find it sincerely upsetting that the war has progressed to this point, though it's always worth noting that, first, Ukraine had a few opportunities to sign pretty good negotiating terms with Russia; and second, in comparison, Western wars begin at the step of making a conflict about hurting civilians, even to the extent of it being a detriment to strategic goals by not solely hitting military targets (most famously in Gaza, but also e.g. during Obama's term by bombing weddings and hospitals).

I will confess to not being as up-to-date on the situation in Europe, and especially Germany, in regards to the Ukraine War as I would like, but as a general statement, nothing I've seen over the last few years has demonstrated to me that Europe is capable of fielding a conventional force which would provide a formidable, let alone existential, threat to Russia at this stage. There's been lots of embarrassing stories about European missile, drone, and shell production being well below standards in both quality and quantity. My thoughts are now that I think the age of the US/NATO posing an existential conventional threat to China, Russia, and probably Iran (and perhaps others like the DPRK?) is now conclusively over, with Western bases proven to be indefensible with existing missile defence programs, their logistics very vulnerable to disruption, and their aircraft not being safe to use over airspace at least as well-protected as Iran's. The US can still do cataclysmic, nation-destroying damage to smaller, less defended countries like those in Latin America and Africa, but for the anti-US squad in Eurasia, the vast majority of the threat from the US is now a combination of financial/debt offensives and covert intelligence. We still have a long way to go on both those fronts, however - a minimum of a decade or two, I believe, even with Trump's inadvertently anti-imperialist accelerationism.

Lastly for this preamble, the annual SCO summit took place on September 1st in Bishkek, with the leaders of China, Russia, Iran, India, Türkiye, Pakistan, and others in attendance. A lot of the usual statements were made: down with hegemonies, down with militarising space, down with unilateral sanctions, up with local currency exchanges, up with cooperation, up with peace, etc etc. The big proclamation this time around was the Bishkek Declaration, which reiterated all those points I just mentioned. Overall, it's one of those documents where the content is mostly cool and indirectly jabs a lot at the US, but I find that paper is a generally ineffective barrier of protection against bombs and missiles, which is a pretty major avenue of... let's say, "international communication" in the current day. And I would like to see some real contenders to the World Bank and IMF taking shape soon if we're gonna truly start fighting hegemonism, but I digress.

Saudi Century of Humiliation continues by Arnaud Bertrand on twitter

The Saudis confirm the attack on their pipeline came from Iraq. Which means that, from a Saudi perspective:

  1. Hormuz - their export route to the North - is closed by a war with Iran that the US-Israel started
  2. Their pipeline to the South was taken offline from Iraq, a country the US broke with another war it started
  3. They're fighting - and losing - against the Houthis in Yemen, whose war against them restarted because of the US-Israel war with Iran
  4. The US is obviously incapable to defend them against these attacks and is now apparently flat-out refusing to intervene in Yemen (https://axios.com/2026/09/11/hou this-yemen-saudi-trump-mbs-strikes)
  5. They are bleeding money at an accelerating rate and, ironically, we may soon see an "inverted petrodollar" situation whereby, instead of recycling oil profits into US Treasuries, they'll be forced to sell them to cover oil losses caused by US wars

All in all, hard to overstate what a complete clusterfuck this represents.

The US is supposedly running "operation economic outcast" on Iran but, very concretely, the Saudis are getting at least as badly "outcasted" as the Iranians in just about every dimension.

And, unlike Iran, Saudi Arabia isn't structurally built to survive this. They bet their country's future on trusting America...

Houthis take their entire side of the straight and start moving south to the next port city. Brent crude jumps to 110.

Damn, maybe I need to gas up.

On the other hand, we have hundreds of millions of barrels of oil in the strategic oil reserve, that should see us through, it's not like some dumbass would have spent the past six months draining the entire thing in an insane war on Iran.

Saudi MOE: "East–West Pipeline shut down as a precaution following multiple attacks."

It is official now. "As a precaution" is really great here. The pipeline delivers about ~6-7 million barrels of crude past the SoH and to the Red Sea terminal at Yanbu (IIRC, 4-5 million gets exported and 2 million gets refined in Saudi Arabia for export and internal consumption). Satellite photos of the Yanbu port also show basically no activity there. Iran hit a part of one pumping station on basically the last day of the 40-day hot war and the Saudis were able to establish oil flow very quickly. This damage seems much more serious, the entire pumping station is gone. If the pipeline is not damaged, they could reopen at reduced flow within one week. If it is damaged, it could be down for repair for weeks or even months.

More launches from Yemen. This is the most extensive Houthi attack on Saudi Arabia in years. Yemeni ballistic missiles and drones targeted an Aramco storage and distribution site in Abha, Saudi Arabia.

Targets so far:

– King Khalid Airbase, Khamis Mushait.

– Abha International Airport.

– ARAMCO bulk plant, Abha.

– ARAMCO refinery, Jazan

I normally try to avoid Falklands posting on Hexbear, but this is such a funny development that I couldn't resist.

Israeli ministers call for sanctions on Britain over Falkland Islands

Smotrich, Israel's finance minister, called for the expulsion of the British ambassador to Israel and said: "We will not be a trampled doormat of an antisemitic government, in a country conquered by radical Islam, trying to save itself from economic and social decline by attacking Jews and the State of Israel. The British Mandate in the Land of Israel is over."

Ben Gvir wrote: "It's time for the state of Israel to publicly recognize that the Malvinas Islands [the Argentine name for the Falkland Islands] are Argentine territory under occupation, which the British violently steal from the Argentine people.

Ben Gvir added: "I call upon Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to recognise Argentina's sovereignty over the Malvinas Islands and to impose sanctions on Great Britain as long as the occupation continues."

The comments by Ben Gvir and Smotrich are understood to come in response to Britain's plans to unveil a raft of policies targeting Israeli settlements on Tuesday, including a trade ban.

US military troops can still be hit by targeted attacks despite disabling ad tracking on their devices — and leaders aren't happy

In May 2026, Senator Ron Wyden mailed the DoD (among others), informing the agency that foreign powers were using commercial location data to target US troops - and now, Wyden has shared the responses he received from the US Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, and Special Operations Command, all of which have disabled advertising tracking across their government-issued devices, including Apple and Android smartphones, and Windows computers.

“We commend these service branches for implementing this cybersecurity defensive best practice on government devices,” Wyden and Senator Pat Harrigan wrote. “However, recent reports regarding the continued availability of commercial location data originating from DoD facilities raise troubling questions.”

🇨🇺 Cuba says talks with Washington have ended over “genocidal” blockade

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez said Havana is not negotiating with the United States and has no agenda for future talks, though diplomatic contacts remain open amid an ongoing U.S. blockade on the country, Reuters reported.

Cuba estimates that the U.S. embargo caused a record $8.1 billion in losses between March 2025 and February 2026—up 7% from the previous period—figures that exclude Washington’s more recent fuel and energy restrictions and secondary sanctions.

Rodríguez described the policy as “collective punishment,” saying Cubans have endured months with only two or three hours of electricity a day or less, disrupting refrigeration, schools, internet access and family life.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov commented on the decline of Western imperialism:

"In historical terms, the West – and Europe in particular – is a severely wounded beast. It is becoming far more dangerous. There is less stability today than there was in the 1970s," he said in an interview with the online project "Sama Menshova."

He pointed out that there can be no artificial preservation of Western dominance, which has lasted for over 500 years. The West must defend its position in fair competition – something it has never known how to do throughout its history, just as it has never lived honestly or succeeded independently, having always survived at the expense of others.

"The West's loss of its objective capacity to run the show is leading it to seek dominance through completely unscrupulous methods: sanctions, or even direct intervention, up to and including military action. They are simply clinging to the last opportunities to maintain their dominance," Lavrov said.

US absent as western powers meet on wartime protections for civilians

A multinational group meets this week at NATO headquarters in Belgium to discuss protections for civilians during combat. Even though the U.S. co-founded this effort, no American delegation will be in the room.

more

Three years ago, the Defense Department led an ambitious international effort to better protect civilians during combat, a movement built on the bloody lessons of Afghanistan and Iraq. The Pentagon created a network with European partners, driving the creation of shared standards. Civilian harm experts described the moment as a “unique opportunity” for American leadership by example. Today, those efforts continue — without the United States, after Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth dismantled the civilian protection mission. And Thursday, no U.S. delegation will be in the room when the international forum the U.S. cofounded meets at NATO headquarters in Belgium. The country’s absence from the International Contact Group on Civilian Harm Mitigation and Response summit reinforces the abandonment of a mission the Pentagon had encouraged partners to embrace, said current and former officials. Most spoke to ProPublica on condition of anonymity for fear of retaliation from President Donald Trump’s administration. They called the step back “humiliating” and “dangerous,” pointing to reports of rising civilian casualties in Iran following strikes on schools and homes. “There will be a day when people who care about mitigating civilian harm can come back and say, ‘OK, are we ready to solve this problem?’” said Jenny McAvoy, a former Defense Department official who helped shape the U.S. civilian protection program. “But there are already enormous consequences of abandoning this work.”

The Pentagon declined to comment about the lack of U.S. participation in the Brussels talks. A spokesperson previously told ProPublica that the Defense Department factors civilian protections into all phases of operational planning and “remains committed to fulfilling its civilian harm mitigation and response responsibilities.” The Pentagon adopted the civilian harm mitigation and response mission in 2022 after years of bloodshed in the post-9/11 “forever wars.” Known as CHMR and pronounced “chimmer,” the framework called for a specialized center to collect strike data and for advisers embedded with regional commands to help mitigate the risk to noncombatants. Not long after, the U.S. teamed up with the Netherlands to coordinate efforts internationally. The two countries had been frequent partners in recent military campaigns, including the fight against the Islamic State group, and were both coming to terms with high-profile civilian casualty incidents. For the United States, years of harm in Iraq and Afghanistan had drawn international outrage and pledges from commanders to better collect data and learn from deadly mistakes. The Dutch were still addressing the fallout from a 2015 operation in Iraq in which air strikes targeting a car-bomb factory ignited a nearby munitions depot, setting off an enormous explosion that killed at least 70 civilians and wounded hundreds. Dutch responsibility wasn’t revealed until 2019, causing a national scandal and accusations of a cover-up.

sweet. I love learning of new man-made horrors every day! agony-4horsemen

In 2023, the U.S. and the Netherlands formed the loose coalition on CHMR. Participants described a small, informal group that has met half a dozen times since 2023 to share best practices and hear briefings on civilian casualty trends. Advocacy groups said it had taken years to get the U.S. military to think of civilian casualties as more than “collateral damage,” showing commanders how the deaths of innocents were anathema to their morals and strategically harmful to their missions.

Machiavelli wrote about this you know chrissy-explain

The eventual adoption of CHMR guidelines by American defense officials helped their counterparts abroad make the case for programs in their own countries. “By the U.S. putting itself out there and saying, ‘We learned, we can do better,’ it gives permission and makes it OK for other governments to similarly acknowledge, ‘Yeah, we can do better too,’” said McAvoy. As participants gather this week in Brussels to discuss how to continue strengthening CHMR, however, the early momentum from the U.S. side has evaporated. Hegseth, who derides rules of engagement as “woke,” gutted the CHMR program over the objections of the nation’s top commanders, ProPublica reported last month. Staff plunged from nearly 200 to about two dozen. Days before the latest summit in Brussels, the United States wasn’t listed as a participant and there was no sign anyone from the Defense Department would attend. Current and former officials predicted either a no-show or, at most, a single delegate from one of the commands showing up. To experts, the message was clear: The era of U.S. leadership on civilian protection was over. “The U.S. stopped participating in this group last year and people assumed that meant the group would die,” said McAvoy. “But the group continued to exist and to meet — without the U.S. — under the leadership of the U.K. and the Netherlands.”

ah, esteemed defenders of human rights and civilians, the British and the Dutch!

The two-day summit opens with a broad discussion of CHMR, such as how it applies in coalitions or in operations at sea, that includes advocacy groups and academics, a draft agenda reviewed by ProPublica shows. Day 2 is a closed-door session for more intimate talks among senior representatives of member states. The meeting wraps with a “looking ahead” panel. Past attendees included Austria, Australia, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany and Norway. The nations represent a wide variation in approaches and needs when it comes to CHMR, participants said. The U.K., for example, doesn’t have a formal framework for civilian harm mitigation and response, and advocates have spent years pushing the British Ministry of Defense to adopt policies similar to those of the United States. Though humanitarian groups generally regarded the American CHMR enterprise as nascent and imperfect, the overall framework provided a worthy standard, said Mae Thompson of the Ceasefire Centre for Civilian Rights, a London-based advocacy group. Advocates have framed the Pentagon’s rollback as an opportunity for the U.K. to step into a leadership role, Thompson said,

man, the Brits really are desperate for some. any form of relevancy on the international stage

and they’ve been encouraged by a recent internal report by the defense ministry that calls for formalization of a program in Britain, including systems to track civilian harm, investigate, and make amends and offer post-harm response. NATO boasts a civilian protection policy that predates the American model, but the organization is now incorporating elements of the U.S. approach, said Andrew Hyde, who studies U.S.-European relations at the Stimson Center, a nonpartisan foreign policy think tank. Hyde said international talks are important for sorting out how CHMR applies in joint operations when the United States, NATO and European nations all have different interpretations of harm mitigation. The diminished U.S. role, he said, means NATO and other partners must step up on coordination. The shift in leadership could end up shielding civilian protection work from the whims of whichever U.S. administration is in power and leading to more enduring reforms, Hyde said. “NATO has continued to push forward without U.S. support or participation, keeping up the momentum and ready for U.S. re-engagement,” Hyde said.

Once again, Brazilian neoliberal "patriots" (Gusanos/Bolsonaro Supporters) are using US and Israeli flags during September 7th events instead of Brazilian Flags, along with a giant effigy of Donald Trump holding a doll of Lula da SIlva. A date that should celebrate Brazil's independence is being used to call for the country to be handed over to the US and Israel.

These guys hand the PT (Workers' Party) the discourse of defending Brazilian sovereignty on a silver platter, and then they complain about this agenda being used.

possum-party Reporting back from this year's Avante Festival, the yearly political-cultural festival of the portuguese communist party.

I've been coming here for 5 years and this was the biggest I've ever seen.

There's not much in the political climate in the country that would've made me think it would be so well attended, maybe so many people came this year because it's the 50th edition of the festival so that's one thing, there was also the controversy around the PCP having invited the PFLP and DFLP which the EU considers terrorist. Either way it was awesome.

It's hard to extrapolate numbers at the festival into electoral results because a lot of non-communist leftists and even right wingers like to attend, probably not for the debates and the booths of other communist parties (china, cuba, vietnam, laos etc) but for the food.

The most important conclusion, one that thankfully we've come to every year, is that STILL only the communist party could do this, it remains an organization that can pull this off even with less electoral representation than before

Marib Front is crumbling as well now & reports of Saudi forces evacuating from Aden. King Khalid Base is under Yemeni Missile fire.

EDIT: Marib sadly did not fall during the night.

Amazing how near sighted the entire chain, from Pentagon to Congress, has been on munitions stockpiles. If we could figure it our with ease for years without any special access etc, how did they fuck it up so bad? ... There has been a long line of absolutely alarming decision making on nearly every level that makes no sense. It's systemic. I believe it is actually changing, but we need to know exactly how all this happened so we can change it once and for all. ...

Tyler does great work but people need to ask what the "right" number of ballistic missile interceptors to defend US bases in the Middle East would have been. We just watched >100 PAC-3s fail to intercept 2-3 dozen Iranian MRBMs. In True Promise 2 we saw dozens of Iranian MRBMS penetrate an air defense bubble consisting of Arrow-3, SM-3, SM-6, THAAD, and David's Sling. All available evidence suggests that there is no practical number of launchers of even the most sophisticated ABMs in the world that can achieve an acceptable interception rate against salvos of a few dozen sophisticated, modern ballistic missiles. The US/Israeli air defense forces in the region may have held out longer with a deep stockpile of thousands of SM-3s, but important targets would still be getting hit, and ultimately they would lose the attrition war on a long enough timeline The question should instead be: why go to war with Iran at all, given the constraints? And the answer to that question is beyond Tyler's relatively narrow journalistic purview.

Feels more like libs scapegoating Netanyahu than anything, but it's interesting that she's comfortable saying this publicly

Funny little piece of info I found today. China also issues bonds denominated in USD (they have so much USD that they might as well, consequence of their massive trade surplus). Given the craziness in the US bond market and investor confidence plummeting in the Untied States, Chinese issued bonds denominated in a currency they don't even control are somehow still trading at a yield far lower than their American counterparts. Take a look:

Maturity China US Treasury China minus US
Nov 2027 (1.2 yrs) 4.143% 4.441% -30 bps
Nov 2029 (3.2 yrs) 4.258% 4.705% -45 bps
Oct/Nov 2031 (5.1 yrs) 4.310% 4.783% -47 bps

What this means is that investors think Chinese bonds issued in USD are a safer investment than American bonds, and are therefore willing to accept a lower yield because they're safer, even though the Americans can print infinite USD and China cannot. Meanwhile, RMB denominated Chinese bonds are at around 1.6% yield, so waaaay safer. Still hilarious though that China is bondmogging the Americans in their own currency.

ISINs of the bonds listed above if you wanna look it up yourself:

Houthi fighters arrived in Mocha on Thursday to find Yemeni battalions that were severely depleted – their rosters were filled with “ghost names” receiving salaries, and the actual strength of the army was only about 20% of what it was on paper, a Western source with knowledge of the operations told CNN.

That was compounded by the fact that the United Arab Emirates – once a member of the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen – withdrew its remaining forces from the country in January, after Saudi Arabia called for them to leave amid a dispute. And Saudi Arabia did not backfill those troop barracks and bases.

It's a Bluesky post that's a couple hours old and it made me laugh. It's so concise and unequivocal. American news sources beat around the bush in such instances. Upscaled airstrikes being reported against Houthi formations along the Mocha axis of advance may lend credence to previous reports that the Yemeni government/government-aligned forces withdrew from key areas to draw Houthi formations into open areas to be targeted more efficiently by CAS. More to come.

"And for our next move we'll cede 1750 sq km of territory and over a dozen strategic air and army bases and all the islands that are key to controlling one of the world's most important maritime chokepoints and lose all our equipment to draw them into a firebag for CAS."

Footage of the moment more than 100 Patriot air defense missiles were launched by the US in Jordan. video

https://xcancel.com/cym27s/status/2097443332855107865

About 13 Iranian MRBMs were launched a short time ago towards Muwafaq Salti Air Base in Al-Azraq, Jordan. At least 2 carried cluster munitions and others carried unitary warheads. Large numbers of Patriot interceptors were fired resulting in some successful interceptions. Several missiles still impacted the airbase. More than 50 interceptors were fired to repel the attack. It’s unclear whether there were more incoming missiles or if the Patriot’s “automatic mode” engaged the submunitions too

potential explanation for why the Americans are burning through such a sheer quantity of interceptors https://x.com/ripplebrain/status/2097532084717834270 (privated account so xcancel won't do any good)

What is Iran targeting in Jordan that is being defended so fiercely?

The Iranians may have caught the USAF by surprise with lots of aircraft on the apron. We haven't gotten high res imagery of Muwaffaq al-Salti in a while but here are some passes from earlier in the year. Debasification consequence btw

and the eventual consequences of such an expenditure rate https://xcancel.com/AryJeayBackup/status/2097450010803618119

During the 2nd and 3rd wave of Iranian missile attacks against US bases in Jordan, they experienced almost no interception attempts. The Patriot batteries did not launch any of their interceptors. Either they were exhausted, ran out, or got damaged from the cluster submunitions

Israel Expels British Soldiers Monitoring Settler Violence in West Bank

https://www.palestinechronicle.com/israel-expels-british-soldiers-monitoring-settler-violence-in-west-bank-report/

I'm kind of in two places on this whole thing. I think Britain was sincerely doing a bullshit act of making themselves look like they were helping the palestinians when in reality the sanctions on westbank settlements are meaningless. But Israel has gone so far over the cliff that even performative acts are unacceptable t o them so they take genuine actions in retaliation.

🇸🇾🔥 Protests Escalate in Syria

Large crowds have taken to the streets in Maarrat al-Numan, with protesters blocking the Aleppo–Damascus highway as demonstrations over the Al-Sharaa government’s latest fuel-price increases grow increasingly confrontational.

Diesel prices jumped 40% overnight, while gasoline rose by roughly 26–28%. The increases are already feeding through into transportation and food costs, adding further pressure to already strained household budgets.

What began as anger over fuel prices is rapidly spilling into broader unrest.

(Quoting ResistanceTrench on telegram, which has video of the protest. Maarat al-Numan is a small city in northwestern Syria between Homs and Aleppo. Obvious to say but as oil prices rise, the weakest links will break first. One commenter speculated that this is the IDF undermining Jolani (since he is apparently a Turkish puppet…while Turkey is a puppet of isn’treal…although seemingly they’ve been angrier at each other lately…but maybe they’re just pretending???))

The gang that blocked Dover port in the UK was recently identified by the Daily Mail as Patriot's Platform, led by Danny Tommo, former EDL member and associate of Tommy Robinson.

That gang then responded by swarming the Daily Mail offices.

https://www.aol.co.uk/articles/danny-tommos-balaclava-clad-gang-142900000.html

Nigel Farage condemned the demonstration and has called for banning face coverings on streets. Group leader Danny Tommo has warned him "be careful with your words".

(MPN) Singer Pink Shared A Post Denying The Gaza Genocide On Instagram

Pro-Israel groups, like the one she shared a post from are seeking to cancel Macklemore & Ed Sheeran, demanding apologies and financial compensation because Macklemore performed his song Hind’s Hall as part of his opening act in a tour he is doing with Ed Sheeran.

Pink has since received enormous public backlash & a boycott campaign after sharing a post that explicitly denies the Gaza Genocide. (https://t.me/mintpress_news/15478)

CNN: More than 100 US military advisers are on the ground in Saudi Arabia providing intelligence and targeting support to the Kingdom in its military campaign against the Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen, multiple sources familiar with the effort say. The assistance comes as fighting on the peninsula intensifies and risks spilling into open war with the Houthis, threatening a second major shipping corridor out of the Middle East. The US military personnel are working as part of a newly-established joint forces command, which was formed in recent weeks amid signs Iran was ramping up its own efforts to aid Houthi attacks against Saudi Arabia, one of the sources, a US official, said. That official put the total at roughly 200 troops. The US has helped Saudi Arabia use a targeting tool that allows military officers to see in real-time what is happening on the battlefield, one US official told CNN, comparing it to the Maven system used by the Pentagon. Another source familiar with ongoing cooperation between the two countries also said that the US is providing “geospatial” targeting support to Saudi Arabia for strikes against the Houthis.

To put any current or future rumors to rest, we now have an official clarification from Abdallah Al-Na'imi, a member of the Ansarallah Politburo:

“There are no intentions whatsoever on the part of the Sana’a government to enter the southern governorates. Saudi media will not succeed once again in misleading our brothers in the South and recruiting them into its malicious wars. Everyone has now come to understand the true nature of this American-Zionist regime and that it is the common enemy of us all.”

Ansarallah’s rapid advance along Yemen’s western coast was planned by IRGC Quds force officers and carried out at Iran’s advice, according to Reuters Iran provided intelligence, equipment, and direct guidance for the Houthis, urging them to seize the key port of Mocha and promising additional funding and arms.
