This guy and his colleagues really disappointed me on that terrible ABC show they have. At no point were they fed to sharks in a tank. False advertising.

They already got their payday, they don't care.

For local politicians usually it isn't even that much, selling your soul for often five to six figures. It's not like they can retire on that kind of money.

A lot of those motherfuckers are selling us out for four figures, especially at the local level.

One of the most depressing things about all of this is just how little of a bribe it actually takes.

[–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 4 points 1 month ago

Yeah five to six figures is national money. Bribes are cheap

[–] frunch@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

Which really makes me wonder sometimes if we should be Gofundme'ing bribes for easily bought politicians 🙃

As somebody that lives in utah, no they really didn't get their payday. And there are seriously pissed off and their pride is injured. One of the guys was the head of the Senate and pretty much a career politician that had no fear that he would lose his election. And then he backed this and all of the people in his district said nope not on our watch. It's pretty amazing actually. The shit that Kevin O'Leary was saying about the people here was absolute fucking dog shit ridiculous. And I'm actually incredibly surprised that this actually happened. I'm ecstatic about it but incredibly surprised.

AI slop. Report it and block the people that share it. It’s the only way we can keep this trash out.

I'm from Canada and I feel like I have to apologize for this drunken, murderous boat captain.

It seems to me that these models they are building this shit for needs to be drastically better and more efficient for any of this to be worth it and it may have largely plateaued, why are they in such a rush to build these buildings
