Welcome to General Memes

Memes for the masses, chuckles for the chosen.

Rule 1: Be Civil, Not CruelWe’re here for laughs, not fights.

  • No harassment, dogpiling, or brigading
  • No bigotry (transphobia, racism, sexism, etc.)
  • Keep it light — argue in the comments, not with insults

Rule 2: No Forbidden FormatsNot every image deserves immortality on the memmlefield. That means:

  • No spam or scams
  • No porn or sexually explicit content
  • No illegal content (seriously, don’t ruin the fun)
  • NSFW memes must be properly tagged

If you see a post that breaks the rules, report it so the mods can take care of it.

Otherwise consider this your call to duty. Get posting or laughing. Up to you

"Se7en, starring Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman, Keven Spacey and Gwyneth Paltrow."

Yes, the entirety of that. And yes, it'll be served in a box.

[–] sik0fewl@piefed.ca 4 points 3 days ago

What’s in the box?!?

[–] T00l_shed@lemmy.world 6 points 3 days ago

George Costanza’s got an idea of what to call this cow

[–] bigbangdangler@reddthat.com 3 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Cow in Japanese is 牛 (ushi), and 7 is either shichi or nana.

Shichiushi is kind of cute and flows nicely. Nanaushi is not quite as good.

[–] Carl@hexbear.net 5 points 3 days ago (2 children)

Ushichi

shi is shared, the -chi ending implies cuteness

everybody loves a portmanteau

An elephant, Joe? Seriously!?!?

[–] BambiDiego@lemmy.world 1 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

Most people would have like thousands of chickens, pigs and cows, fish, and a few extras like duck, sheep, and deer scattered.

Joe was eating EXOTICALLY. There's buffalo, elephant, snake, tortoise, seagulls, rat, mice, owl, eagle...

I'd be surprised if somewhere there we didn't see Coelecanth and Lion or something.

Good living' Joe.

If we're including killings with degrees of separation there'd be a whole bunch of people in that crowd as well.

[–] funkless_eck@sh.itjust.works 1 points 3 days ago

just from pollution, microplastics, garbage, I've probably killed thousands

Unless he was a slaughterhouse worker he didn't "take" the lives of most of those animals. The little critters at the front make sense though if they were roadkill.

[–] Soot@hexbear.net 2 points 3 days ago

The average American apparently eats a hundred kilograms of meat a year??? Holy shit.

Still, that's about one cow every two years. I call too much livestock, even for an American.

[–] fox2263@lemmy.world 2 points 3 days ago

As we all know, 6 means cow. Therefore 67 is appropriate

[–] Rolive@discuss.tchncs.de 2 points 3 days ago

Or Nana (seven in Japanese)
