Probably no criminal charge if he left when asked to leave.
If he went into the amusement park after he was banned, the charge could be trespassing. Though there are often local laws specific to entertainment venues that could apply better. But it's generally trespassing to be on private property after you're told not to be there.

From the photo, it looks like someone used their camera while on the ride. I wouldn't be surprised if that were the real offense. Six Flags has gotten strict about it, there are signs everywhere telling people they'll get kicked out if they take their phone out on rides.
While waiting in line for a ride last year, my brother and I watched a nearby roller coaster stop just after leaving the gate (while still on the initial incline, where there's still walkable space around it) and employees escorted some bozo off exactly for that reason. They're not kidding around.
Every get hit in the head by 100mph phone? It's essential like getting a rock chucked at you by prime Randy Johnson.
Seems a bit unfair considering that is very clearly Millennium Force at Cedar Point, which has no affiliation with the Six Flags parks.
My buddy was banned from all Six Flags for life for punching a FrightFest worker in the face when the guy snuck up behind him and screamed in his ear.
Every year he gets a letter at the beginning of fall reminding him that he isn't welcome.
I'd frame one of those letters and hang it up in the wall if I was him

Honestly best case scenario. Your esophagus Doesn't works the same in negative and positive gforces. Best to keep it clear until you are not moving. Dude could end up choking with no one knowing until the ride finishes. By then it could be too late.
Nah, I'd totally vote to convict someone breaking safety regulations by having their phone or other loose items out while the ride is in motion. Many innocent people have been injured by that.
I saw one of the videos not long ago. Some of the dipping sauce clearly splashed back toward other riders. That's rude, but probably not dangerous.
The buddy holding the phone though? Yeah that would suck if it slipped from his hand and hit you in the face at 90 mph (max speed for this coaster).

I doubt it's an ad tbh, the thing did happen and i doubt Six Flags would advertise themselves on the fediverse let alone the threadverse which has way less users

Sh.itjust.works got 7 million unique visitors last month. Even if 60% are bots, we're not that quiet. 2.8 million people seeing ads is a pretty good run for free. That's just for sh.itjust.works.

It's more likely here because reddit is mostly bots and the anti-ad people would go after them. Why in the world would you think they wouldn't use any ads they could, especially free? Haven't you noticed how the people here discuss things and are generally kind people. This place got a portion of reddit's best reddit content creators. I'm not sure why you're fighting so strong against this, it's kind of strange.
