If you squint a little it looks like a toothy flesh creature. It looks quite appetizing compared to my usual opinion of lightly processed tomatoes.

Certainly the meatiest of tomatoes.
My tomatoes, are doing thier thing, by turning their leaves yellow and spotty. Its a watering issue I think. We had a lot of rain the last few weeks. But this happens every year, snd I cant seem to figure out how to prevent it.
Ive still got mad green plum tomatoes waiting to turn color. I think I need to switch to only growing tomatoes in pots. My one potted tomato doesnt not have the spotty leaf issue, just the ones in the ground.
This tomato looks beautiful, and I am wholly jealous! It looks so good!
Mm, plum tomatoes! I hope you get a generous harvest.
same to you :)
Congratulations! Looks delicious.
We are also in 7a and started eating our tomatoes about a week ago. Cucumber has been going super strong for a few weeks now. Eggplants are starting to be ripe enough to harvest. It’s been a good year so far.
I’d live to toss one of those sweet berries into my dehydrator for a few hours!
Sun-dried tomatoes packed in oil and herbs would be delicious..
Good extra virgin olive oil, sea or pink salt, fresh ground pepper and some fresh homemade bread and I'm in Heaven! Add some prosciutto and mozzarella and I'm over the moon!
Look amazing!
A few more of these and I'll pick up some mozzarella cheese, harvest some basil and make Caprese salad. 🤤
So jelly! My next run will be San Marzano tomatoes. From what I read they are excellent for sauces and actually counterfeited. Crazy thats a real thing!
I hope they live up to your expectations! Wish I had more room so I could try them! Are you going to process most of them?
My dream is I can grow hundreds of pound in greenhouses all year. Make sauce, sell at the farmers market and the rest goes to food banks.
I would love to get some of those seeds. Thats a good looking fruit (yes people tomato is a fruit). So I can propagate, if I can get my dream going its going to a veggie/fruit making machine 24/7/365
Also have a soft spot for Beef Heart Tomatoes, they are bad ass on a sammy :)
A year-round tomato stall? Who wouldn't be excited for that!
