Same mother fuckers that talk about "freedom." Good luck in the election dickheads.

[–] originalucifer@moist.catsweat.com 17 points 3 days ago (3 children)

the 'dont tread on me' state is quite the opposite.. 'do what we say, or else'

an entire state run by fragile little snowflakes

[–] Lucidlethargy@sh.itjust.works 3 points 2 days ago

Yeah, Texas is a joke for exactly this reason.

[–] aramis87@fedia.io 5 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Texas, the One Star State.

It's not just our motto, tt's our rating!

[–] nilloc@discuss.tchncs.de 2 points 2 days ago

So is the “live free or die” state. The only state without legalized weed all of the northeast.

[–] trainsrkool@lemmy.ml -4 points 3 days ago

Good luck in the election dickheads.

hehe you say that like "elections" matter, they dont care which "side" wins because the "sides" are only in public.

[–] TheRealShadeSlimmy@lemmy.world 16 points 3 days ago

Gotta keep those private prisons stocked! Taylor Farms needs more dookie lettuce.

Kind of a dumb question/observation. 0 is less than 1 gram. Doesn't this mean everyone is breaking the law all the time?

[–] aramis87@fedia.io 2 points 3 days ago (1 children)

If you have none, then you are not in possession of any.

[–] GraveyardOrbit@lemmy.zip 3 points 3 days ago

What about 1/10g, what about 1/100g, 1/1000g

[–] prole@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 2 days ago

Big gap there between 4 and 400 grams.

Side note, it turns out that the paranoia goes away when you're in a state that doesn't give a shit

[–] Hermit_Lailoken@lemmy.world 5 points 3 days ago (2 children)

That answers the question, it's all about money.

[–] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 4 points 2 days ago

its alcohol industry, worried that things like weed and glp1 is going to eliminate thier profit/industry overnight.

[–] phoenixz@lemmy.ca 1 points 2 days ago

Don't forget about the free slave labour!

To all the shop owners: they’re doing this to fuck you as hard as they can, as well as your customers. Their only goal is to hurt people.

Do whatever you can to fight back, and step one had better be “get dirty“, because they will never fight clean. That’s how you lose. That’s how we lost.

You wanna win again? Well… You gotta do what it takes. And that means throwing out the rules. Or you’re fucking dead. want proof? You half fucking dead already. there’s your proof.

I love Barack and Michelle, but they were the end of an era. Michelle’s one mistake was to tell us to “rise above” when the paradigm shattering clown was right on their heels. We learned our lesson – – or at least some of us did. Biden didn’t. Kamala didn’t. Merrick Garland didn’t. But, those who did survived to fight another day. And they’re the ones who are winning primaries right now, and will be elected to office in November. Let’s not lose sight of that

[–] BassTurd@lemmy.world 3 points 3 days ago (1 children)

What ideas did you have in mind for these show owners to "get dirty"? I don't disagree, but I'm not sure what there are for options.

[–] SolacefromSilence@fedia.io -5 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I don't why I thought of this, it seems unrelated. Did you catch that journalist's video about how hooligans are taking down floch cameras?

I'll let you get back to your centrist convention. It's tough out there, both sides, amiright!?

[–] BassTurd@lemmy.world 5 points 2 days ago

My question wasn't a challenge, it was just a question trying to get more information. OP sounded like they had some specific things in mind, and I'm curious what they are. I personally am not sure how a THC distributor "gets dirty" in regards to legislation passed that hurts their business.

Did you catch that journalist's video about how hooligans are taking down floch cameras?

No, I've never heard of floch.

Don't be a douche.

[–] turdburglar@piefed.social 2 points 2 days ago (1 children)

yeah, that high road is a dead end road.

[–] eurodyne@piefed.world 1 points 2 days ago

That’s what they want you to think.

Surely, it’s the much harder road to drive down, but it is always worth it.

Isn’t there some anime boob somewhere missing your drool?

Your comment history isn’t exactly a sparkling memoir to intellectualism…

[–] phoenixarise@lemmy.world 10 points 3 days ago

So this is that freedom they keep lying to us about. 😂 I feel sorry for good Texans.

[–] Trampampoline@sh.itjust.works 9 points 3 days ago

Same thing happens in November in North Carolina. Now cops can go back to harassing you for pot smells and searching your car, and pharm companies can get another buck out of you for psych meds that don't work as well.

[–] aeronmelon@lemmy.world 10 points 3 days ago

“Prison slave labor quota is low, ban something harmless and popular so more people break the law.”

[–] turdburglar@piefed.social 5 points 2 days ago (1 children)

pretty sure the answer from the state to all their questions is a loud and forceful ‘FUCK YOU’.

[–] mojofrododojo@lemmy.world 13 points 2 days ago (2 children)

they voted 70%+ to legalize iirc.

their own legislature said fuck you.

lol texas

[–] 0tan0d@lemmy.world 4 points 2 days ago (1 children)

don't worry in the next election Texans will vote for all GOP except like 1 dem. They absolutely will be expecting broad sweeping changes and if that dem doesn't deliver its right back to the GOP because they are good for the economy.

[–] mojofrododojo@lemmy.world 3 points 2 days ago

spent some years in texas while in the army and could never understand how a state that once had ann richards was the same state that has supercharged conservatism... not because I don't get the gop's rhetoric, I understand how that speaks to chuds, but holy hell it's not really working out well for the rest of them - the state is a shithole in so many ways. but they keep double downing on conservatives. keep reelecting ted cruz. it's wild.

and at the end of the day they want to spark a joint and just smoke it, and even though they overwhelmingly vote for it, conservatives get to say 'nope. fuck you.'

[–] Thebeardedsinglemalt@lemmy.world 4 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Ohio tried the same thing a few years ago. Then just a few months ago banned edibles (with the caveat they now have to be made in ohio.

This is the party of fReEdOm btw

[–] mojofrododojo@lemmy.world 3 points 2 days ago

yeah ohio has a lot of great cities (cleveland rocks and has some of the coolest bars!) that are utterly drowning in conservative swamps.

shame that.

[–] Today@lemmy.world 4 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Delta 9 (and i believe thca) is exempt. It specifically targets the lab made products- ∆8, 10, etc.

[–] ryannathans@aussie.zone 2 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Delta 8 is found in cannabis plants though?

[–] Today@lemmy.world 1 points 2 days ago

But it's in such small amounts that what's sold is typically created using cbd and h2so4, etc.

[–] mholiv@lemmy.world 4 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

Complete side note. I haven’t seen you around much. Do you still believe that voting for Kamala / harm reduction would be immoral?

Edit:

I saw the downvote, and I saw the upvote after I added this edit. It’s fine. The people of Cuba, Venezuela, Palestine, Iran, Ukraine, Greenland, and the world I think can be definitively be said would have been better off with harm reduction.
