The meeting aims to explore and deconstruct some stereotypes. Reflection develops around three cases illustrating the complexity of gender and religion in the contemporary context:
the religious experiences of young adults in Italy and the different meanings that religion assumes in the construction of individual and collective subjectivity;
the role of digital technologies and environments in contemporary religious practices and experiences;
the relationship between feminism and religion and the theme of religious feminism.
Through the discussion, the importance of a gender approach and an intersectional perspective in the interpretation of religious experience will be highlighted, and the implications for scientific, public and political discourse will be explained.
