Rules

AI Art: While we appreciate AI generated art, there are more appropriate communities to post that type of art to. Please keep posts to non-AI generated art only. This rule includes AI art that was then manually manipulated (e.g. drawing on top of something generated by AI).

NSFW Policy: Nudity and suggestive content has always been a part of art, but it may be something that some users don't wish to see or cannot view in certain circumstances (e.g. at work). If your work contains nudity or suggestive content, please mark it as NSFW. Work that contains nudity or suggestive content that is not marked as NSFW will be taken down. As long as the NSFW tag is used, we welcome nude or suggestive subject matter. If you aren't sure if your work is NSFW or not, just ask yourself, "Could I look at this at a typical office job and not get into trouble?" If you're still not sure after that, you should probably mark it as NSFW just to be on the safe side.

Spam: Please do not spam this community. Self promotion is fine if you just want people to be aware of your work, but blatant attempts at spam will result in the past being removed and possibly a ban. If you aren't sure if what you are posting is spam, please contact the moderator first.

Conduct: Be nice, and don't be a jerk. Constructive criticism is OK, but don't be mean. Encouragement is always welcomed.

This is my second shirt. I really love this piece. I'm already working on my next one for a local band I'll post when it's done.

Man… and all I have planned is a rewatch of True Detective S01 😅

In fairness that's the best show to ever grace television 😂

Seriously one of my favorites. I really want a slightly expanded story for the meathamphetamine cook… like even a comic book 😎 Dude just rolling around half naked, getting beer, doing his laundry, watching TV —always wearing his gas mask 🤣

Did you make the shirt yourself or are you using a service which prints it on?

Glad you asked! I do the whole thing myself. I have a handyman business, and it was cheaper to build a t shirt factory than it was to outfit my whole crew from a local print shop. I've always considered myself an artist first, so being able to work in a new medium SLAPS it feels so good. Now I'm even getting contracted from local bands to make their t shirts, which is huge for me and very exciting

That's pretty cool!

Can you tell me abit about how you do it? I would love to print my my stuff on shirts too but I have no idea how realistic that would be :D

Sure! First I draw whatever on a piece of paper. Then I take a picture of it and trace it in Krita. I take that and import it to InkScape to convert to an SVG. Then I put that SVG on a 13x19 canvas so I can print it to a transparency.

The transparency then gets burned to a screen with an LED light that, frankly, sucks. I wash them out in the shower and then they're ready to print! It's not hard 👍

She’s pretty horny.
