I went looking for a CBC article on this, wanting to share that with the people of Canada but the CBC has not said boo about it. I love how we are getting closer and closer to the EU.

Good call - it looks like they've put it up on their own media relations page, but aren't (yet) reporting it as "news".

Maybe. I'd be excited if it weren't for the ongoing Israel debacle.

Same. Big fan of the contest, not a fan of genocide.

Not with genocidal Israel there and their shady voting practices

full participation in the Eurovision News Exchange. This will allow more Canadian news and perspectives to reach audiences in Europe, and bring more international coverage to Canadians."

Both excellent thigs to do.

Good for Canadians to have increased access to additional perspectives, and good for Canada to have more presence in front of the European audience.

Maybe they can bring back investigative journalism, not whatever they have been doing recently.

Doug Ford will personally make sure they don't

Doug Ford doesn't have any authority over the CBC.
