10 years of Domino’s every night. No wonder he needed an ambulance.

Man, who has 'delivery pizza nightly for a decade' money, even if it's only dominos pizza.

Also, who has the health for that kind of a diet? I'm pretty sure that cause of dominos being able to save his life was also caused by dominos.

Some people with eating disorders live along time on very limited diets, like chicken finger and crisps everyday and thats it. If the pizza is the only thing you eat it wouldnt be a crazy amount either money.

It's ~$7300. Obviously you could get pizza cheaper, but as a splurge this is a nice car payment.

Your math is way off, that's like 2 years of pizza unless you're somehow paying $2 per pizza. 1 pizza a day at $10 for a year would be $3,650, so a decade would be $36,500. And that doesn't even factor in delivery or tip....

How cheap is a Dominoes pizza in America? In the UK it's far more expensive than a normal pizza/burger/kebab shop, and normally more expensive than a restaurant pizza.

Carryout coupon for a large 3 topping is $9.99. Delivered is usually more for the pizza plus delivery fee. Back when this guy was ordering, I think he only got 1 pizza so like $15 a night.

Second to the bottom when it comes to pizza. Only little Caesars is cheaper (and worse)

I don't consider dominos pizza. It's a form of fast food.

Its a different type of pizza, I'd grab some napoli pizzeria shit anyday and still want a dirty ff pjzza if I was hungover and eanted lots of salt and sugar.

Where I am in the US, Domino’s is generally cheaper than your mom and pop pizza place. That generally goes for the other big boys in the industry too (Papa John’s, Pizza Hut, Little Caesar's, etc.) A pizza at one of these places can cost you between $7-$20 on average for your simple pepperoni pizza, and this includes large pizzas too.

Whereas most local mom and pop shops near me want $30+ for any of their pizzas, even “personal” sized which are much smaller pizzas.

And I’m just talking carry outs. Delivery adds an additional $10-$20 for delivery charge + tip.

Not even nice. $7300 is a shitbox in the modern auto world.

They ran through the door and got a fresh slice right into his mouth. Just in the nick of time!

Soon, they will be able to extract his essence and bring forth the next generation of their secret sauce.

"Don't you die on me, pal! Nurse, push 100ml pepperoni, stat!"

Start a slow IV drip of marinara.

Did autism save his life or dominos

[–] hemko@lemmy.dbzer0.com 35 points 2 days ago (2 children)

Not dominos, but there's people working there

wtf is wrong with you trying to steal the glory from good old dominos co

[–] qarbone@lemmy.world 6 points 2 days ago

Yeah, don't say "Domino's" like the COO told that franchise "hey, check on my main man, Doug. hasn't ripped any 'za in days."

The normal humans who work there did the humane thing and checked on him.

I found this article, it’s a lot of words that say basically the exact same thing as the meme.

From article: Staff got worried, checked his house and no one answered. They called an ambulance (”medical services”) and he was taken to the hospital.

[–] ThatGuy46475@lemmy.world 3 points 2 days ago

Now that’s service worth tipping
