Now this is a sticker I want. Gonna start slapping this puppy on gas pumps over the stupid "I did that!" Biden stickers.

[–] PattyMcB@lemmy.world 41 points 3 months ago (3 children)

Pro tip: there are now Trump "i did that" stickers on Amazon for CHEAP.

Bonus: it's the picture of him looking into the eclipse with no eye protection and pointing

[–] IratePirate@feddit.org 26 points 3 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (1 children)

...and by buying them on Amazon, you're filling the coffers of fascist supporter Bezos. How ironic.

Honestly, at this point I think MAGA are just fin-subs and like it that way. Keep sending Daddy Don your social security checks you little fin-cucks.

I would grant them a modicum of grace if they hadn't had 40 fucking years to see what he was about. But they had it. And they chose this.

[–] someguy3@lemmy.world 44 points 3 months ago (1 children)

But The Apprentice!

(Apparently all the real business guys were too busy, that's how the producers picked Trump.)

[–] hitmyspot@aussie.zone 23 points 3 months ago

He was the perfect pick for a show like the apprentice. Tacky showy idea of an 80s businessman. It was clear on thw show that he wasnt really involved with his own business nkr the show tasks or planning.

Sitting in meetings or analysing data on a screen doesnt make good tv. Neither did trump, but the producers did.

Had to look up what a finsub was. The more you know.

If you willingly gave money to a two-bit con-artist who is widely known for robbing or defrauding nearly everyone he has ever done business with, then you got what you had coming.

[–] auzy1@lemmy.world 23 points 3 months ago

He didn't rob everyone.. stormy Daniels however might be the only one he publicly actually ever paid (even if he tried to get a refund).

I'm willing to bet there are a lot of underage women and other women who he paid though who haven't come forward

For nearly 600,000 Americans who trusted a brand built on the Trump name, the gold phone has become the latest entry in a long record of ventures that took their money and delivered nothing.

They wanted a Trump experience and they got one. Could argue they got what they paid for.

The clearest signal yet that buyers may never see either a phone or their money came with a revised terms of service published on 6 April 2026. The updated document states explicitly that paying a deposit 'does not constitute a completed purchase and does not create a binding legal contract.' The payment is described as 'a conditional opportunity to buy the device if Trump Mobile eventually chooses to sell it,' with the company retaining all control over whether a phone is produced at all.

[–] daychilde@lemmy.world 66 points 3 months ago (8 children)

That is absolutely fucking hilarious.

I also don't think contracts work that way, otherwise that shit would be WAY more common. heh. But I'm also pretty sure nobody will see a penny back anyway.

I'd feel bad for them if they weren't fucking in the middle of turning our nation into a fascist hellhole.

Normally I feel sorry for people who get scammed but in this case shitty people getting scammed by the scammer they inflicted on the rest of us don't get my sympathy.

As I pointed out a year ago, this phone never existed.

They just waited until it was too late to do credit card chargebacks before pulling the rug. I've seen it on Kickstarter dozens of times.

[–] PattyMcB@lemmy.world 28 points 3 months ago (8 children)

The fact that Trump or any of his family will never see the inside of a cell is the single largest thing that destroyed my faith in humanity.

LMAO. I LOVE IT. Such an American thing for a president to scam his own voters. Literally scam them out of money.

They will moan a bit and then say "I would vote for him again" 🀣🀣🀣

Anyone else find it hard to believe that there were 600,00 orders for this. That feels like another money laundering situation.

Edit: 600K

Can't feel bad for people who got conned by a con man and now are suckers and losers for getting scammed.

[–] KingThrillgore@lemmy.ml 33 points 2 months ago
[–] Blackmist@feddit.uk 29 points 2 months ago

Why would Obama do this? 😭

[–] cabillaud@lemmy.world 29 points 2 months ago (3 children)

In a logical world, this would result in 600k less electors for the orange buffon, wouldn't it?

You mean to tell me the con man scammed them out of their money? Shocking. /s

Seriously it would be more surprising if they did come out.

Lol, what a bunch of stupid assholes.

Zero sympathy, fuck them and I hope they lose even more money in the future by still being stupid dickheads.

Some days I wish I could just put my morals/ethics aside. One good grift and I could be rolling in MAGA money till the day I die.

It's unfortunate I'm unwilling to compromise myself and forgo peaceful sleep for the rest of my life.

And people are now getting emails saying that their phone will never arrive, with no mention of them getting their deposits back.

Anyone have the text of the actual email?

Republicans really struck gold with these maga morons. They are an endless supply of gullability, funds, and votes. World class idiots they deserve everything they want for others.

[–] 0_o7@lemmy.dbzer0.com 22 points 3 months ago

His base is like trader NPCs in video games.

They buy everything he's selling to them. Then they un-ironically call everyone else NPC for being slightly skeptical.

[–] Bebopalouie@lemmy.ca 22 points 2 months ago (3 children)

Hahaha fuming. Doubt that, they will come back for more.

Sounds like a perfect time to introduce the all new Trump Phone 2.

If only I wasnt so lazy, and had all these pesky morals.

The only people surprised by this are magats, but they'd still vote for the child rapist again.

[–] UltraBlack@lemmy.world 21 points 3 months ago (9 children)

Bro are these journalists high? Read the terms and conditions...

If you cancel your deposit before completing a purchase, you may request a full refund. Refund requests must be submitted through Trump Mobile customer support prior to completion of a final sale. If Trump Mobile cancels or discontinues the Device offering prior to sale, Trump Mobile will issue a full refund of the deposit amount paid.

[–] Corporal_Punishment@feddit.uk 30 points 3 months ago (5 children)

Apparently the terms and conditions were changed quite recently to make it clear paying a deposit didnt guarantee anything.
