Went to the dentist recently and complained that my teeth have been very sensitive recently to hot, cold, sweet, and especially to apples. Doc said i brush too hard and gave me a script for a tube of flouride stuff thats supposed to help rebuild enamel. Instructions say to use it as toothpaste but doc note says to apply at bedtime. Anyone tried it? Did it help?

It helped, but what made a huge difference was making a new habit of marking my calendar and replacing my toothbrush every two months.

And I started taking care to buy "soft" brushes. I have no idea why "medium / fuck your teeth" exists, anyway.

Also brushing gently, of course.

Yeah. I use sonicare and I've always brushed like normal with it. Apparently your supposed to just glide and let it do the work. I probably don't replace frequently enough.

I haven't tried that toothpaste but if you're unclear on how to use it because you get contradictory information, you can always call your doctor.
