Compact Phones

Phones are too big. We've come to accept that 6" phones are normal, and we're mis-sized. But just a few years ago, people hated big phones. We complained that they were uncomfortable to hold, didn't fit in our pockets, and that these phones were "clumsily oversized." Now big phones are all you can buy. Why? Did everyone's hands and pockets get magically bigger? Are phones big because manufacturers want us to drop them?

Whatever the reason, we know what we want: We want small phones!

People sell their souls for this shit.

I say that as a nerd too. Over the years though I've started to realize this is a bad path for humanity. Basically humanity is already owned and our fee will is fake. The "simulation" that conspiracy theorists talk about IS this. We are NOT inside a computer system, we are controlled by algorithms. And before the tech it was marketing in media and politics. The outcomes of events are planned and it's theater "programed" for the outcomes elites want.

Like people think this trump admin stuff is the issue... But the trump stuff is just part of the programing that will get us to the next outcome that suits the elite.

Honest humanity is already effectively dead unless you are completely detached from modern life and government.

You might want to turn off said phone and go touch some grass.

I typo a bit too often, but I am a big dude with big meaty fingers. The max volume is kind of crappy, so I use my Bluetooth more than I otherwise would. Three day battery life. Easily fits in a pocket. Barely fits in a change pocket.

That's awesome. Though a better camera and chip is what I need. 4-5" screen is impossible to find with midrange specs.

Yeah, and I just use it for calling, texting, and the occasional podcast, so... Still, under 200$ CAD, and I wasn't sure I'd get any use out of it and it's been since October.

A woman in a meeting I was recently in had an iPhone 13. I'm not a fan of apple, but I loved that phone, and was super jealous. 5.4" screen.

They're hoping this, but the moment only few companies offer a small phone and make bank, they will change their minds quickly.

People who like small phones will skip replacement and buy used phones if they have to for years. There's a lot of money to make giving ppl what they want.
