"Playing GTA will make you kill hookers and police! Just like watching porn will make you commit incest and pedophilia!"

[–] ZILtoid1991@lemmy.world 5 points 9 hours ago

The TERF-Island shows it once again, that TERFs aren't the "fun loving feminists" culture warriors wanted you to believe...

[–] NigelFrobisher@aussie.zone 7 points 14 hours ago

What about the other 2%?

Unpopular opinion:

It's porn, it's escapist fantasy and like most porn, it touches on fringes. There is LOADS of popular porn out there that can only best be described as "rapey" and a lot of people (women included) are into it.

FFS, everyone and their mother knows incest is bad, we all know rape is bad and I honestly don't believe that anyone would watch an incest video and suddenly think "well I have a son/daughter too!"

It's a fantasy and with all fantasies, some like it, some don't. As long as fantasies stay fantasies , can we please just let people be human beings? Can we please stop being the thought police?

The teacher and student? Very illegal in the real world, that's why we have porn! The "I'm stuck under the bed!" porn is rape porn, hell, most porn can technically be explained as rape, and we all watch it.

The problem here is that anytime anyone speaks up, its immediately "oh so you like to rape your daughter!". No I don't, I just think that we should leave people be people and we should not censor all thoughts as certain people are trying to do here. I think people should be allowed to have sex fantasies in their heads about anyone, as long as those remain there.

Most people have no problem with this staying in their heads and I don't think we should outlaw porn just because rape happens in the real world, when porn is not the cause.

Do not think for a second that it will stop with this, they're just starting here because it's an easy target. Soon it will be "oh so you're one of those rapists that likes porn, huh?" and then all porn will be banned.

Is a teacher/student thing actually illegal if they're out of high-school and are adults? Like sure it'll get them fired, but illegal?

edit: And yes I am sure there are depictions of situations where it would be in porn, i was just curious if it was even an issue beyond that.

What about porn about running from home to your auntie's house but they got a house rule, you gotta be naked the entire time. And well, you know you're welcome to shower with your uncle and play with his dong when he's working on the laptop on the couch. C'mon help yourself!

What cocknballs are you talking about?

[–] GeeDubHayduke@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

Mama loves your fat wang. Go ahead and give those massive balls a jiggle.

[–] altphoto@lemmy.today 0 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

I used to play that and other shows loudly in the house. It was hilarious. But I got kids. LOL.

[–] GeeDubHayduke@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 5 hours ago

It's now your responsibility to "introduce" your kids' friends to the classics. But only at a medium pace.

[–] DancingBear@midwest.social 6 points 16 hours ago (1 children)

Cousin porn was always hotter anyways 🤷‍♂️

Alternative title: Step-government won't stop railing its step-subjects until morale improves

[–] ILikeBoobies@lemmy.ca 4 points 15 hours ago

On one hand I support this to make porn more accessible to me. On the other hand it seems like a joke of a headline for the government to even care.

[–] Billy_fuccboi@lemmy.world 128 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Brits only enjoy real incest between royals

[–] Marthirial@lemmy.world 12 points 23 hours ago (1 children)

That's the solution. Just call it nobility porn instead of step sister porn, oi.

[–] DancingBear@midwest.social 6 points 16 hours ago* (last edited 16 hours ago) (1 children)

This would actually be really funny. Make it historically accurate fiction.

[–] Alwaysnownevernotme@lemmy.world 5 points 14 hours ago

Now this is the kind of revenge porn I can really get behind!

[–] MoonMelon@lemmy.ml 22 points 1 day ago

After-credits scene in 28 Years Later: the rage virus doesn't really exist and the UK is just like that.

[–] jtrek@startrek.website 48 points 1 day ago (9 children)

On the one hand, I'm really not a fan of the endless "step-*" porn. On the other, a law banning it is pretty heavy handed.

I am still 100% convinced this whole trend was a self sustaining accident/idiocy.

There was probably an actual organic desire for this kind of content so it was made. Ime most of the content doesn't even try and make good on the title and it's just regular ass porn, so it ends up getting traction, cus porn. This leads to content creators making more of it since for the most part all you have to do is have like 2-3 throw away lines in the scene and a risque title so it's free to throw another genre label on there.

Now a feedback loop exists. More of the content is made because it gets bigger numbers so more content gets made.

All because it isn't really mutually exclusive with any other genre, you can slap it into basically anything for free and attract a wider audience. I suspect the actual amount of people searching for specifically incest-y content is really low n

[–] DarkFuture@lemmy.world 19 points 1 day ago

Why? It's not incest. And it's not real.

[–] Railcar8095@lemmy.world 16 points 23 hours ago* (last edited 22 hours ago)

Wait. Step relatives sex is legal, but it's depiction is not? What about step relatives relationships in non porn media? There was a very popular comedy years ago and this was one of the ongoing subplots.

Edit: it seems it might be illegal in the UK. Jesus. Fucking. Christ.

[–] hector@lemmy.today 73 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (3 children)

What kind of nanny state are they running in the UK now? Just surrender your freedom guys. It doesn"t end here.

[–] Aceticon@lemmy.dbzer0.com 8 points 21 hours ago

The UK is somewhere in between most of Europe and the US when it comes to moralism.

In most of Continental Europe "if you're not harming anybody, we don't care", but Britain's period of increasing moral openness just lasted 3 decades with only enough steam to make same sex marriage legal, and then stopped and turned weirdly transphobic. Further, the moralistic vein of their society never really stopped, it's just that for some limited domains (pretty much just homosexuality) it's unfashionable for the middle class to be openly moralistic, but just about any other sexual behavior which isn't common will get criticized even in newspapers, often by the very upper middle class people who call themselves "liberal" because they're non-judgemental about homosexuality.

Having live in Britain as well as in Northern and Southern Europe, British society stands out for be more judgemental, prejudiced and moralistic that even Southern Europe (which far less moralistic today than 4 decades ago and unlike Britain isn't ultra selective about the things it's non-judgemental about).

They screwed the pooch pretty hard with Brexit, seems like they would have turned left.

But, I'm American, so we're in a worse boat, and I can't talk.

[–] crunchy@lemmy.dbzer0.com 53 points 1 day ago (4 children)

So...they continue releasing the same videos and only change the titles?

[–] DarrinBrunner@lemmy.world 23 points 1 day ago (11 children)

Might have to edit out a few lines of dialog at the start, but that would improve it.

And yet the bible, a filthy book full of smut about nudist couples, prostitutes and much worse and more, is just allowed everywhere.

Lot and his daughters. All that needs to be said.

[–] unexposedhazard@discuss.tchncs.de 35 points 1 day ago (3 children)

Peers agreed by a majority of one to ban videos and images depicting relationships that would not be allowed in real life.

If they arent blood related stepsiblings then its not illegal is it? Strictly speaking even actual incest isnt illegal in most places if it doesnt lead to children or marriage. Still weird af of course, but not necessarily something that the government should get involved in unless its abusive.

The content is said to "normalise the sexualisation of children, promote the idea that children consent, and fuel demand for real child abuse material"

So academia supports this? Oh we're just curtailing freedom on vibes again?

[–] apotheotic@beehaw.org 10 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Yeah I worry they are putting the cart out before the horse. Imho "barely legal" (porn featuring people who look or are portrayed as barely of the legal age of consent) porn being as widespread and popular as it is, isn't the cause of sexual violence against children and adolescents, but rather a culture of adults that sexualise minors and would perpetrate that violence anyway are the reason the content is as popular as it is.

Ofc I have even less data to go off of than the authors of this bill but this has vibes of "video games cause violence" all over again

[–] Noja@sopuli.xyz 10 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Most teenagers watch porn, and "barely legal" porn is made mostly for them and their fantasies.

Maybe this will finally bring back scripted employment based scenarios.

"Hello, I am here to fix your sink." "Oh, I looked on YouTube and it said the pipe needs to be replaced?" "Well, that's fine, I think I've got a pipe to insert right here." -bow chicka wow wowww-

[–] workerONE@lemmy.world 17 points 1 day ago (2 children)

The scripts are always really depressing though. The girl applying for a job is desperate for money, and the guy just exploits her situation. Mostly stuff like that. It's never "I'm having a great day and the only thing that could make it better is some dick"
