I'm kind 6. Two regular monitors and one large TV.

I'm #13 but the laptop's in between monitors. Does that count as mental illness?

I'm 5, because I'm writing and reading a lot. It makes no sense to have a horizontal screen for text.

I'm none of these. I have two normal and one rotated 90 degrees for the odd legal sized document that gets scanned in. When I was doing a lot of data entry in one of my jobs, it helped.

#3 is also dumb. Can’t do a single thing right in front of you, the thing is always off to one side or the other. Just commit to #5 if you want two monitors, or do what I’ve also done where my laptop fits underneath my main monitor(only applicable if you are tall enough to warrant such a high monitor placement).

This is my mental illness, I change, rearrange, add, and substract screens constantly in my array. It's mostly for leaving ambient video playing in the background at my house, kinda like a little zen garden. I dream of programming all the TVs at a night club.

I got five computers in the array when this pic was taken. Three 2012 MacBook Pros, one on MacOS 10.15 Catalina, one on Windows 10, and one on Mint. Down low I have two gaming PCs, a 2014 build running Fedora and a 2017 build on Ubuntu.

You can't see my face but I'm cheesing so hard, this was one of the more ridiculous arrangements I've set up. I will use between three and seven screens at once on a normal day, but eight was an accomplishment lol

Is this my sign to get in to GIS?

For work use I’m #13, except I remove the keyboard, put the laptop in front to use that keyboard, then center the monitors behind it.

For personal use, I’m #3

As a GIS tech, there's one missing - the laptop next to an ultrawide. Optional normal monitor to the side :P

But yes, as a former weather forecaster, the 4 in a square is insane and unfortunately it was necessary on bad weather days. At one of my locations, we also had the PC hooked up to a television running behind us and had a separate real time data monitor to the side. So... Yeah.

Mental illness is almost all of finance. That checks out 100%.

I have a software repo with multiple files that are over 5000 lines, IG wouldn't fit on 10 monitors. I may concede my predicesors who made it this way have a mental illness, but I have to get work done, and it requires reading that file on an appropriately large monitor.

I did theatre shit and qlab on a vertical ultrawide is a dream. I never gave up that layout.
