Hi, thanks for the report and I will take a look. Could you add the Device Information and Settings that autofill when going to Settings -> Report Bug. Cheers!

Okay never mind; it's not an issue with webp. To reproduce the problem, I just viewed All on New and kept scrolling until the app had to load a bunch of thumbnails and eventually the error will appear.

EDIT: This was on 366.

EDIT2: That was with opengraph, webp, and preloading on.

Perhaps the app can add a little message to the new post page about using the bug report function, if it's a bug, when it detects a new post for this community. I think many users simply aren't aware of the ability to do so since it is a bit hidden.

I'm actually having a hard time finding it in the settings.

In Settings, tap on the overflow menu in the top right and then on report bug.

Ah, thanks!

I'm not sure if this is what's causing the app to be sluggish but I noticed both this issue happening and the performance of the app degrading at the same time

It looks like this is due to having the convert images to webp setting turned off. Tap on that link to turn it on.

I do have that turned on, I tried it both on and off with the same result. I'm still having trouble finding the bug report in settings.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that you also need to close and reopen the app after turning on the setting. If you're still having the problem, please report back.

Okay, so I think if you switch to card view then it should be fine. At least I wasn't able to reproduce it in card view. Let us know if that's the case or not.

To change it to card view, when viewing your feed, tap on the overflow menu in the top right, then on change view, and select card.

v1.0.367 is live and the changelog lists this as being fixed. I scrolled pages and pages, on both list and card view, and it looks like the dev has fixed it. But of course I'll leave you and other users to confirm that, since my record hasn't been great recently.
