Going nearly a month without playing is actually a huge negative and these playoffs hurt the good teams with a bye. We should be watching the final or semi finals today, not a month from now.

So you're telling me there's hope that Oregon will win
That is the trend. At least one big 10 team needs to win
I can't believe Miami beat OSU. It's why I don't make bets on sports!
0-6. Sucks to win a bye I guess.
If every bye team loses again, they will update the format, right?
I think the update is happening either way, though probably not to a better system for the fans.
All they really need to do is expand to 16 teams so no team has a bye.
That just adds more bad teams, maybe it solves the not playing in a month.
It does, but it's mostly to keep the top seeds from getting rusty. They could also make it so every conference champion gets in, then the 6 best teams outside of that get in as well. Their would still be some drama from the 6 who got in, but it should overall work out.
I think when OSU lost that was already happening.
Either they change the format or go sixteen teams, no byes.
Ok, so someone go put a real big bet on bama real quick, right?
How much did you lose?
Aged like milk go Hoosiers
1-7 with the only win being clearly the best team still seems fair.
I’m just amped for the Hoosiers. Never in a million years did I think we’d win in football before we got back to the final four
