now that it turns out it's 'racist white men'.

Also just learned it's a quote from a white nationalist neonazi in 1993, I never saw it used for anything other than antisemitic dogwhistling but I assumed the phrase was stolen from some liberal philosopher and taken out of a specific historical context... but no, just a neonazi.

If they did, they’d be leftists.

The reason leftists are so unpopular is because we criticize the only people even 4chan suspiciously lays off of. How interesting that rich people, America, The Catholic Church, and white men are all sacred even to 4chan and its “everything goes” culture.

Wtf I leaned it was from Voltaire at school (and I'm French, imagine how shameful for the teacher) so I had to double check it and yeah you're right it's been misattributed
