So in violation of a federal law and a SCOTUS ruling Tiktok will be back in US markets because the guy that originally proposed the ban violated the Logan act?

Yep. But also, SCOTUS is thoroughly corrupt, and the federal law that was custom-made for the purposes of banning TikTok is a farce. The whole thing is a dog’s breakfast.

It’s a big club, and you ain’t in it. It’s oligarchy all the way down, and it always has been.

Technically, the law only requires TikTok to be removed from app stores, and it is. Yesterday the company voluntarily blocked US traffic, then today they unblocked it, both seemingly just a publicity stunt to try to buy Trump's favor.

Trump wins by uneducated people believing he saved TikTok for them, ByteDance (Tiktok's parent company) wins by getting on his good side and increasing the odds of a future reversal of the law.

Enjoy the circus.

So TikTok isn't a national security risk no more? Hurray for that! We can watch dancing dimwits safely again.

Well I already deleted the app and it's not available on the app store. So long fake Chinese app. I'm going to a real Chinese app instead.
