Apparently they had some kind of alpha men being bros event going where they would hike dangerous trails to connect with their manly man energy as a group-building exercise. And ofc they picked a place for that that wasn't just Hitler's favorite mountain, but that is a hotspot for all kinds of cults and the more problematic elements of the new age scene. Like, we're talking about people who believe that Barbarossa sleeps under the mountain and will one day awake and come out with his army to save Germany, or who are holding rituals to summon nazi UFOs and shit like that.
