These are quite significant improvements. I'll still stick to LibreTube though because proxy
FreeTube is my darling on Desktop
It doesn't hide your IP so I'd recommend using something piped-based if you need that level of privacy

If you check their GitHub, there is an open issue and a very simple fix - enable "Use HLS" in settings. It's as simple as that
