Image persistence also. I can get the IPS panel on my Thinkpad to display a ghost of an image on what's supposed to be black space for upwards of a minute if I use the particular band of colors it seems to hate.

I can't get my current IPS to ghost at all yet. But my old TN had an always visible imprint of the taskbar.

I think in many cases it's not so much the technology, but the quality of the monitor.
