Trump claims he will send $5,000 to every citizen if Republicans hold on to control of Congress

Trump has claimed he will send every citizen $5,000 if Republicans retain control of the US House and Senate. He provided no details about where he would source this money from or the legality of the incentive.

“So if the Republicans win, you win with us … it will be called the Trump dividend,” the president said.

What if it happens, but hard emphasis on “citizens” and you’ve gotta submit to an ICE screening to receive the money? They sure would need to ramp up ICE recruitment for that

They could even say like "the foreigners are registering for the money, we don't have enough for everyone because of the fraud" when they can't actually afford to send them to everyone too.
