if all immigrants to the US did this instead of assimilating into the core and being thankful its not them who get stomped

True, but unfortunately out of all the developing countries, moving from the USA to China is the only option that likely wouldn't decrease your quality of life. The imperial superprofits in the U.S. are very tempting.
