Yeah, definitely glad we did that. The relationship ended up not working and I'm glad we both had the means to live independently after.
It's good for when you need it, but it's also something that can start souring a relationship really quickly too.
There's a kinda dependance spiral that kicks in at some point and it gets really messy and uncomfortable. Someone always feels guilty, or trapped, or taken advantage of and everything becomes transactional.
