I've been doing that for a while. It is his name assigned at birth, after all. I also wish a reporter would call him that at a press conference, so when he corrects them they can call him out about his 'preferred pronoun'.

JD Vance's birthname is actually James Donald Bowman. When he was 6, her mother remarried and they changed their name to James David Hamel. Since his mother divorced again (this woman married a lot of times), JD changed their last name to Vance in 2013.

Kamala should have called him James Bowman and asked him why he can change his name, but why JD believes a transperson shouldn't be able to.

One of my oldest friends has been "JD" for longer than this guy. Judge not a man by the idiots with the same name, but by the content of their character.

I reckon people can identify themselves however they want to. James Vance believes otherwise, except for himself.
