I honestly hate these "theories" because while it's partially true I'm as left as it gets and I hate septum piercings. I'm not gonna shame anyone for getting one I just personally hate them and hate how prevalent they've become.
I don't mind most piercings and have several tattoos myself but there's like 4 types of piercings and tattoo placements that just put me off. Doesn't mean I'm a fuckin pedophile.
The definition does say they dislike women with septum piercings, not the piercings themselves. So you're good. I don't like piercings in general. I was forced as a child to get my ears pierced three times and I'm still resentful.
But others can stick whatever they like in their bodies.
Also...my thought is that there are many conservatives who hate what they can't have. Perhaps they secretly do like septum piercings on women, but because they can't fuck, they hate.
Other than being left, this is the biggest difference between you and the people the theory is referring to. Everyone is allowed their preferences and unless you're commenting on people with septum piercings there's nothing wrong with not liking them.
I think you can rest assured that since you’re not conservative, this theory doesn’t apply to you at all!
Everyone does but not everyone feels compelled to say anything.
I used to dislike them. I think that was just because they were unfamiliar. But, I've seen many people with them now, and I think sometimes they even look nice.
I like piercings better than tattoos. Except for the extreme ones, like gauges through cheeks, etc.
At first when I read your comment, I thought you were referring to studs in the cheek, which I have actually found kind of attractive at times so I was a bit confused why you said extreme. Then I reread.
Cheek gauges??? Wow. That’s wild.
I have no meaningful opinion on them. However, now that I think about it the people I know who do have them tend to be attractive to me. That said, I don't think it's at all contingent upon the septum ring itself.
So… what are the other three?
Gauges, nipple rings, and clit/vaginal piercings. As for tattoos anything above the neck, above the wrists and genitalia.
Oh, so anything that shows that a woman has bodily autonomy. 🤣👍 sure, dude.
Or, hear me out, they just don't like them; only 1 out of 3 listed cannot be done by men (unless they are trans but let's keep the topic less broad)
Okay, then maybe it’s that women have to be 18 years old to have them done and the worst, most insecure guys you know just don’t like being reminded of that?
wow those are the most fun piercings though. maybe you just dont like women who are into other women? everything youve mentioned are things most common in bi/lesbian women. i get it we're great i wouldnt want the competition if i was a dude (just kidding id still be into it).
Depends on why they don't like it.
I just don't like piercings in general, because, well, it pierces skin. It's like needles, which I too dislike, except this is permanent/long term.
Imagine a piercing in sensitive area getting stuck on a thread sticking out of clothes. Yikes.
Then don't get one? But you can shut the fuck up about other people having them.
I don't know if that's a response specifically to me, but if so, I was responding to this bit:
I was replying to this.
Some women love that feeling of the piercings on their body. Not the getting snagged part, but how it might feel rubbing against their shirt or pants. That's why they get those piercings. If you don't like that feeling, don't get one.
Pretty simple to just... not get one instead of casually insulting people who do.
Yeah, I think most alternative aesthetic decisions tend to be signifiers of queerness to others. Subtle ways that we tell others that we're accepting.
If that turns away straight cis men....oh well.
Couldn't agree with you more. I'm not out here trying to yuck anyone's yum, but if a girl has a cow hoop in her nose it's an immediate turn off.
It's probably working as designed, as she probably isn't wearing it for your particular pleasure, but for hers and hers alone.
All I can think of is how if I had one of those it'd be crusty pretty much all the time from my allergies.
Sounds like something a pedo would say
Oh look a kafka trap.
