if they are well off, when they begin to need assistance with day to day shit they will likely move into an 'assisted living facility'. there are actually a few tiers of these kinds of places from almost no help to full monitoring.
if they have the money, they dont need you.
personally, i wouldnt sweat it. aint your circus.
