Starting with the economists, we are slowly coming to realize merely taxing billionaires isn't enough to save all of civilization.

Especially since the ultra-wealthy are already aggressively pushing to dominate the world through political takeover, spending hundreds of millions to change outcomes of elections. They can afford to seize control of all governments this way.

And billionaires have already announced their vision for the future of humanity, to live in luxury, automating as much as possible. They intend to leave most of us to languish in reservations to starve, including their wealthy near-peers, keeping only essential workers in squalor and bonded servitude.

Some have even written manifestos to this effect. There are alresy projects for Ayn Rand style billionaire cities, a la Rapture or Opportunity, already in the works.

We need to not only strip billionaires of their billionaire status by redistributing their (ill-gotten) spoils, but then assure that billionaires cannot be made again.
