What's worse is this, work in a place thats been around for 40+ years owned by one guy and worked at by the same people for decades. Come in as the young new guy with no experience working with the people who have a couple decades more than you. Then work there for 20 years but always be 20-30 years behind them no matter what. You get more experience, but so do they. You can never not be the fuckin new guy. The job is tough, but everyone makes money, so no one ever leaves. So, you're always the new guy, but you're not going anywhere either because you know, they all have to retire sometime and then the whole thing will be yours.
